I nearly bought a 2022 S1000RR.... really did NOT like the hydraulic clutch with almost no friction zone. I wound up buying a '23 ZX10R and I absolutely LOVE it. But it doesn't have quite as much power as a fully tuned S1K. You can get over 200 on that bike with some mods. Mine has 196 with a cat delete and new air intake.

I'm a civil engineer, what the worker was talking about is called "surveying" which is when we measure the distance and angles of the infrastructure (like roads) so we can collect data and send it over to the designers which use the data to create 3d models of the road (and other things!)

I was blessed and got a K46 (the gen prior to this) as my second bike after riding an FZ07 for 4 years, for very cheap and I'd wish BMW s1000rrs on any rider. These bikes are incredible and like nothing else on the road, let alone on the track. - It's got cheat codes in the computer to make you a better rider and you can tune the assists down once you're comfortable.

1:55 he’s measuring the gradient of the sidewalk alone the block. There is another guy at the other end with a “scope” that is set up and level. They measure the height from one spot to another to get the slope of the land.

By far one of the best liter bikes in terms of comfort tech feel power and all over ride ability you can use buy saddle bags and your on them if your used to the seating

Love it! I got a used 2016 S1000XR as my first bike, I was worried about it at first being too much, used rain mode for a while on a friend's suggestion, but honestly never found it to be too much. I do ride rather conservatively though and try and be as safe as possible. It's such an amazing engine though
My service manager literally has the same thing, with some b and e suspension I think and top end work done. Things are beautiful

The stick with laser on it. Is used to shoot grade for dirt work or ditches to see how much fall is in so many feet for water flow or whatever else

That’s such an amazing bike man. I’ve had 2 buells the xb9s and then the xb12s. The first one was nice with all the bolt ons, race ecu, and drummer exhaust was quick but not fast at all and the curves are just so much fun and the second one was a complete different beast. Fast, short bike that loved the canyons and anything with a lot of turns and short straight aways. Been wanting to get another Litre bike one day soon enough. Being in the small town of oracle az not to much to worry about in terms of other vehicles.

I have the 2021 version w/ a full sc project exhaust and brentune stage 2. The bike is absolutely insane and I love it. Came from a 2018 r6 and the difference in power is just mind blowing. I would love to see more content of you riding yours bro!

Welcome to the best super sport made! I’ve never ridden a bike better than the s1000. Get some Akra headers for that thing and get it tuned asap! They really smooth out. Keep that long can as well, those long akra cans make the most power.
