    Let’s see how to make upwas special shengdana ladoo today. It is a healthy and tasty recipe. You can have it on any other day too!! It can be a good short break lunch box option for kids. What more, you can even have it as small dessert post lunch or dinner!! This is a popular Marathi recipe made from peanuts, jaggery and ghee. It not only looks tempting but also tastes just awesome. It needs very few ingredients and is a real quick recipe. If you have roasted peanuts ready with you, then you can make it in a jiffy. I will share perfect measurement. Another thing is we are not using ghee in this recipe!! I will share few tips and tricks too!! Try this recipe at home and write to me. You also can like, share and subscribe.
    Ingredients:
    • 500 gm raw Peanuts
    • 500 gm Gudh / Jaggery
    • Cardamom pods
    Method:
    • Heat up a pan on high heat and add peanuts.
    • Reduce the heat to medium and roast peanuts really good until they turn nice golden color from all
    sides. Stir continuously.
    • Turn off the gas and let them cool down a little.
    • When the peanuts are still warm, peel them.
    • You can skip peeling if you want.
    • Separate the peels and peanuts with the help of a strainer.
    • Add cardamom into a blender and add peanuts and gudh.
    • Pulse it well together to make coarse powder.
    • You can use food processor too for this process.
    • Transfer the mixture into a dish and mix it well together.
    • Roll ladoos from the mixture of the size you want.
    • If you are making the ladoos in winter or monsoon, then the mixture turns too day.
    • Then in such cases, microwave the mixture for just about 30 seconds and you will be able to roll
    ladoos.
    • If you don’t have microwave then fill up hot water in a big pot and place the dish containing the
    ladoo mixture on it. The mixture will get heat and you will be able to roll the ladoos easily.
    • You can store these ladoos in an airtight container. It has shelf life of about 1-2 months.
    • You can make around 30 medium size ladoos form the proportion we used.
