  • This is another AWESOME live Fleetwood Mac/Lindsey performance from their 1982 Los Angeles (Mirage tour) concert!! This time around it's the classic song~ The Chain. Lindsey REALLY gets into this!! I LOVE it!! This is one of my all-time fave (live) versions of this song.

    Enjoy!! ~Jackie (:

It never felt right and it never sounded right to my ears, but everyone says you have to use one. I wanted to play rock, but only wanted to play with my fingers. Seeing what Lindsey could do convinced me to keep playing. I'll never be as good as him, but I'm really glad I didn't give up. His performance here just blows my mind.

They respected each other as musicians and artists, but as a couple clashed hard and held no punches. This thing we see here is as genuine as it gets.

    Fleetwood Mac: Yes.

I'm not sure if it's the Cocaine, hatred or a mixture of both. But this was scary good.
Edit: Thanks for the likes. Peace and love to all.

a mix of both for sure...but something else is going on that we can not and will not never be able to figure out, i call it magic/chemistry and talent.

There's some very real love in there, too. Don't forget that Stevie was with Lindsey AND Mick later on - and John and Christine married and divorced. But they stayed together. It takes more than willpower to do that. You need some basic love and respect to be able to stick it out the way they did. Great insight.

Scary good, indeed! Electrifying emotions! I'm surprised Lindsey's fingers weren't bleeding from his intense finger-picking performance!

That solo smacks, it just keeps going and then you watch and he is like assaulting the guitar.

A totally underrated guitarist imo can't read music, is completely self taught and never plays with a pick! Stevie best remember he's the reason she's in Fleetwood mac in the first place!

The part where Lindsey looks at Stevie and starts barking like a dog at her - she is looking at him with big stared eyes - cool! Then of course there is Lindsey's tremendous guitar playing - I like the way he tickles his strings making the best sounds ever heard on a guitar.

My favorite part of this is John McVey at 6:10 "whoa, I did not know I was standing that close to my ex, backing up, deep breaths, deep breaths, anxiety level lowering"

Studio albums are timeless classics. Live performances are where you see how talented Fleetwood Mac really are.

You rarely get to see that much emotion put into a performance. Magnificent.
