Thank you for the detailed explanation. Please, can the IT job types mentioned in this video come with contract (needed for work permit renewal) if one get such job based on IT skills only, and not by ones msc degree (probably because the area of study differs)?
Yes and they also lead to Residency. You can get this jobs either by yours skills or degree.

One thing which your video doesn't seem to dwell, Ammy, on is the question of age. Are there age limits to the Portugal-based jobs that you mention? (I turned 60 last year.) While I'm sure that there are laws against age discrimination, are these laws operational in practice?

Of course you can work at 60 if you choose to. If you apply to a company and you’re employed, then you can work. I’ve seen people at your age who still choose to work in Portugal.
