Dogfight is excellent. River Phoenix and Lili Taylor give great performances. It's one of my favorite of the 90's. I think you'll enjoy it.

Some great titles Fish! That Criterion sale always feels so gluttonous I could get so many, I recently just picked up two titles from the Criterion sale being John Water's Polyester & Tootsie w/ Dustin Hoffman.

I have yet to watch any John Waters. I love Tootsie!! I almost grabbed it too but I heard it's coming to 4k in the next Columbia Classics set.

Foreign films are some of my faves. Have you seen Hausu, Cure, Y Tu Mama Tambien, or The Piano Teacher? Also anything by Almodovar is amazing. He has three films on Criterion, but one great one that isn’t is The Bad Education which I picked up recently, great twisty lgbtq story
I've been giving Blue Velvet a close look. If I don't get it now. I'm sure I will in the next sale.

@@fish_thefilmcollector Excellent. I think about a quarter of my collection is foreign films lol. Lots from Japan and Korea especially. I’m currently watching the Korean film A Taxi Driver and it is an absolute masterpiece about a true historical event. Definitely check that one out if you can
