Becky Smart my parents watched this show while they were children when it was originally broadcast. I am a second generation fan, I find this show very entertaining, it is a lot better then most of the shows on television at the present.
Without a doubt my absolute favorite episode as a child. I remember when I was really little that scene with the ghost in the window actually scared me just a little bit. Lol 🤣😂♥️👻🎭🛥️⚓🆘🆘😏
The ghost howling in this episode reminds me of the ghost howling on the old Disney album "The Haunted House" I think it was called, from the late 60s or early 70s......
So silly for Gilligan to revive the Skipper by throwing water on him after he quickly recovered from his fainting spell after seeing a ghost, who he thought was real at the time.
This show reminds me of the innocence of childhood. This particular episode always happened to be my favorite, well other than the dream sequences. When I was a kid, it always scared me (but in a good way), even though I'd seen the episode a million times in reruns, lol.
There was I dream of Jeannie haunted house, then Gilligan's island and the ghost.writers do believe in ghosts or just make a nice story, let's not forget charmed
Waking Gilligan in the middle of the night is fine but if he does the same thing to the others it is never ok. Not fair, not fair at all. Gilligan needs his sleep too.
I fantasized about what Robert Goulet didn't do in any Gilligan's Island episode. That's the crew members portray Robert Goulet as Willie Gilligan/Bob Denver's presidential debate opponent. It's hard to believe what the Simpsons animation crew members have done. That's scoff at Robert Goulet. Sherwood Schwartz never had the crew members write an episode where Willie Gilligan meets former President Kennedy's ghost. 🙄
It's funny because when the Skipper puts on the sheet you cannot see the words SS Minnow. The scene even shows the front of the Skipper. Yet when Gilligan comes in he sees SS Minnow on the sheet as do the viewers. One of those GI goofs or errors I guess.
i think we got the idea about the sheet saying SS Minnow and why Gilligan realized it was the Skipper and not a ghost. However, when the Skipper puts the sheet on you should be able to see SS Minnow on it as the screen shot shows the front of the sheet. However, when Gilligan comes in you see the writing on the sheet. That was the only point we were trying to make.
Yeah..then the skipper right after FOR ONCE (followed IMMEDIATEBLY by all of the other castaways, except at first the Professor!) sees the ghost! But for ONCE Gilligan can NOT!
One of the most memorable GI linens "I hear feetsteps!" ....."FEETSTEPS?"
I love where Gilligan goes outside, immediately says, "10!" and comes back in.
😆
"OUTSIDE!!"
This scared the heck out of me at age 6.
Heck isn't the word I was thinking. So realistic when I was young
Same. I always avoided this episode when I was little.
One of My favorite episode.....
My favorite episode! So scary when l was young…
I was looking to see if I was the only one. That noise and that sheet and when skipper saw him walk by 👀
Gilligan's Island was a great show.
the best
Said no one ever
I agree
Yea it’s funny.
I can never get enough of these episodes! 😂
I love this show and have since the 60's. I'm a first generation fan and the whole family looked forward to sharing lots of laughs together.

This came on that hour it was dark right before morning as a kid and I couldn't move.
"Are you a good, good ghost or a bad, bad ghost?"
"Good Ghost" 😂😂
this episode REALLY creeped me out as a kid and kinda still does to this day.....................
Richard Kiel who played the Russian ghost was 7'2" tall. Boy he must have made Alan Hale feel short at 6'3".
I have every episode of Gilligan's island and this episode sort of creeps me out I think it's the ghost howling.
Anarchist Atheist Gilligan was a hoot

Skipper never believed what Gilligan was trying to tell him even though he was usually right and had to learn the hard way.
Windy Neville ikr it's really sad
That was my favorite episode of Gilligan's Island when it goes is on the island
From that look on the Skipper's face surely comes the line "he looks like he's seen a ghost." Hope he did not hurt himself on the way down.
Damn, this show was funny.

Great show ! New shows don't even come close !
Ha ha, great show of all times.

We're getting reruns of Gilligan's Island on Saturday. I wonder if this show will still be seen another 50 years. Hope so!
This show will live forever.
One of my favorite shows. Watching this episode as a kid I definitely wasn’t scared with this scene, might have even chuckled.
I LOVED THIS SHOW!!! 🤣
This scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.
me too........still creepy even today...........
This was my favorite episode 🏆
This is the best episode.
My all time fav show.
This scared me to death when I was 7.
Ghost A go go was a funny episode and I still laugh at the scene where Gilligan counts real fast.
2:04 WELL, skipper, ARE YOU convinced NOW?? (LOL Great episode.)
I have all GI episodes on DVD
I just loved this Galligan Island. Pity that only lasted only 3 seasons.
This episode scared the $#*T out of me when I was 4, and I never quite recovered.
That's funny how Gilligan goes outside to get a bucket of water and right behind the Skipper is a barrel labeled "WATER."
This was my 2nd favorite episode
This scared me so much as a kid.
This was not one of my favorite episodes, but this was a funny scene.
RIP Richard Kiel
Thanks a lot Gilligan for reviving the Skipper after he revived himself. Way to go!!!
Gilligans Island September 26, 1964 to April 17 , first episode two on a Raft last episode Gilligan, the Goddess

“10!”😂😂😂😢
"A ghost doesn't wear a sheet stamped 'S.S. Minnow'." Sometimes, Gilligan has his bright moments.
Gilligan is a lot more intelligent than he appears and we can see examples of that quite often.
I ❤ you Chris

Chris ❤ I remember
For a deserted island there is lot of light
Count to ten by fours???
You notice Skipper and Gilligan always sleep in their clothes while the other castaways have night clothes?
The Skipper does not like to be woke up from a sound sleep. This happens a lot with his little buddy Gilligan.
Running gag, eh?
Waking Gilligan in the middle of the night is fine but if he does the same thing to the others it is never ok. Not fair, not fair at all. Gilligan needs his sleep too.
Where is the rest of the show, wasn't cold doing a dance on our patio and so on always blaming Gilligan
Skipper's so rude to Gilligan
It did not seem they ran the ghost episode as much in reruns. Maybe they thought it would scare children.
It said you have to $$$ for Gilligan's island even Hold That Ghost.greedy bastard's
( Insert Ghostbusters theme song here)
The Minnow had embossed white sheets??

Philip Parlee I see what you mean about the sheet. Good eye. Seems like an obvious mistake they could have prevented.
Philip Parlee, yes I agree this is an obvious mistake but I would have missed it if you had not had such a sharp eye. Good job.

This episode is a good analogy of the COVID-19 scamdemic.
Not really
Feces smell.
