I am same way, I am living in Chicago, USA now after shifting from Delhi. I don’t really have any good friends to do stuff with outside of work. Yes, not having friends can be good in that you can save money, only do what you want, no need for impress others, etc. But it also makes life feel sad and empty, that it feels awkward to go out to places and do things by your own self. So many times I also do wish I had friends who have stuff in common with Me that I can do stuff with and experience life with.
Nicely said! Friendships brings enjoyment but also expectations and if not met it leads to disappointments. In this phase of my spiritual journey I don’t feel the need to belong to any friend or group. Whenever I go to India I feel like connecting with my old friends. ❤

I also have"no friends"and I don't regret it! It's a self made choice to be with myself,retain my energy,self growth and heal,to achieve my personal goals! There are multiple reasons I don't want EXTRA drama and unnecessary people in life. But those people woh love to make friends and hangout or fun krna, woh yeh boundaries ko smjhty nahi hain, or force krty hain k ap bahar niklo,DOST banao, for me,dosti ka turnoff wohi hai k jab tak ap un k hisab say chalo to theek jese hi ap apna pov rakho gayy ya apna time apnay tareekay say istamal kro gayy to woh offend hojayen gayy! So no friendship is better than fake friendships ❤

Same thoughts ❤️ introvert,no friends(happy) and if I start to talk sometimes(with my coworkers) I just say whatever comes in my mind very open which doesn’t work in my favor for my mind peace. I regret saying something sometimes so I try to stay quiet and avoid conversations.

I am also a Virgo and have exactly the same habits and personality like you, Simor. You remind me of my younger self! I am almost 50 and hardly have any friends. I never felt the need to make friends, and enjoy my own company or that of my husband and children. I always keep my mind occupied. The only problem is that I can’t relax, my mind and body are always hyperactive and I am always overthinking . Being a Virgo my perfectionist nature is sometimes annoying, how do you manage with this Virgo trait Simor?

During my 84 years of life I had only 2 friends.Sadly they have left this world.

@@Simoreslife Grateful to you for your kind words. Losing 2 friends was not enough,lost also my dearest friend my wife 3 years back. Corona was the culprit. Over and above this 3 problems Peripheral Neuropathy,back pain and shoulder problem have emerged at the time when I have got some respite from RA after 18 years. My 5 daughters are sending such messages as yours. And the life goes on...

It’s very important to have social circle not just for ourself but for our kids specially when we are living outside India for their development,having said that it’s important to surround yourself with like minded and positive people.
P.S- In countries where half of the year is winters its very depressing company of good people can be really helpful.
