Thanks again. Glad you appreciate all the effort I put in designing this beast.
+grohl666 Thanks for making it so awesome, your effort surely shows :)
+grohl666 I knew that this desing was yours!
Congrataulations!
+grohl666 Is the main model based of of a Kamov Ka-27 Helix?
+grohl666 You designed this model? I didn't know you were part of the Technic team !!! Awesome job
+Sariel's LEGO® Technic Den how long u make all did is too long but i glad people like it alot
19 long soft axle What!! WHaT!!1!! WHAT!!!!!!!!! The wolverine claws thing almost made me die of laughter :D
+BrickitSAM I am loving the new technic parts! Awesome Job TLG
"The instructions are very well secured, especially against someone trying to use them"
hahahahahhahahahahahahhaa xD
What an absolutely gorgeous and perfect set. This is probably the nicest looking set I've seen in a long time, and it's MASSIVE too. I'll be grabbing it ASAP. Great review Sariel
Also, the sudden Wolverine is a nice touch.
this has to be the best rating a set has gotten from you ever. definitely getting this.
Nice set and good review, thanks! Ow my, I wish I could get my hand on 30 of those new Technich axles pins with pin hole... Looks like a really useful part.
Thanks for the video.
Awesome review, I'm thinking of getting this set when it is released.
defiantly picking this up
I got this yesterday and I gotta tell you, it's huge!! Gonna build the B model soon too. It looks rly interesting.
1,2,3...12 MARKS OF EXCELLANCE... Guy must be a pro
It looks like it was inspired, at least, by the Kamov Ka-31 Helix, judging by the propeller and the twin stabilisers, although the rest is significantly different
Niesamowite, aż nabrałam ochoty na Lego :) Świetna pasja!
Great review, as always! I like your "sturdiness" test :)
Very good review! Thanx! :)
17:44 I would say the model mix consists of the Kamow Ka-32 and the Mi-26.
Cool Set
12:11 - The designer flinches ;D
Im getting this set soon!!
Nothing to note specific to this video, but you make awesome Lego reviews! :)
I love Technic and his hamster over the sets =D. Good videos and it is nice to see the sets before lego announce them
i think it is inspired by the kamov KA-31 /32
but it looks bigger in proportion!
nice model :)
Thanks CZcams for another amazing recommedation
rly nice video !
the comparison of both helicopters is brilliant,
and also illustrates my point concerning the panels,
there must be 40% less gaps in the new one,
I agree the other one s colors would look better.
the coast guard colors are kind of usual.
good job.
Wow, Milan had us AFOLs in mind this year :D
15:50 Love that! 😂 "Bash someone with it"
The inspiration for this helicopter is the Kamov KA-31.
Huh, you're right. It shares some of the details, like the most notable counter rotating rotors and vertical stabilizers.
wow.. ur video is amazing and soon cool. I really liked the way u review..
I am gonna definitely subscribe..
all the best. and hope to see more reviews..
I think the step forward in relation to the 9396 has to do with the non-skeletal design. 9396 has too many holes on the chassis, while 42052 has very few. I'm glad Lego seems to be driving away from the "technic sets have to be skeletal" philosophy.
About the white color, I think Lego uses it as a "neutral" color. Other realistic colors could relate such vehicles with specific nationalities or military roles. Aside from the emergency red/yellow universal pattern, and the occasional heavy-duty orange, I don't see another safe color that could be applied in this case besides white.
+Matheus Moreira
What about blue?
Paul Jones Yeah, I think you're right, although last year's flagship was a white/blue plane already. But a blue helicopter would indeed be a realistic neutral color for this type of vehicle, I think.
I think black with yellow / white would be cool
True. This set most closely resembles a military craft in construction. Lego has sworn to never do military equipment.
Laughs in 42113
it is wery nice lego model
Good but small set and GREAT review! :-)
cool video as Always, i building this set right now, i Always love the part with the hamster, you should have tried to lift your hamster with it
I need one of these
Is amazing
Super!!
Nice!!!
Nice video BTW and i like your mice. :D
the b models instructions are seldom included, it would be nice but I think it will never happen for larger sets so have just kinda expected to not get them.
Notes on the set:
1. The hinged front looks like access to the cabin area. The rear upper one... well, there are action movies that can explain that.
2. While the engines are well-shaped, it doesn't do much to me.
3. I love the white/orange combo. Very Coast Guard-like.
4. Maybe a LEGO L motor will do the trick to speed up the winch?
5. Hmm...while the gap on the underside doors is neat, I feel that there has to be a beam or some other setup that can seal the floor/door while still making room for the cable. Nitpicking, that, yes, but I don;t want my stuff to fall out of the helo.
hahaha Wolverine mode...this was the best in the video!
i thought its was a good Video... but then this wolverine Mode. really nice!! pls more like this....
i got this set and i liked
I can see someone saying, "You try and do any better!" And Sariel would be all like, "Challange accepted..."
Never expected for this review. It seems both have similar motorized functions and do not differ so much. Great review though!
This model is "white panel" heaven. This has about 50 panels, most white!
j'adore un jour j'aimerai bien le faire
Ok Very Thanks
That gearbox design looks a lot like the 42025 version. Did +grohl666 build it as well?
Cool
I actually have a pair of those panels @ 3:49 in orange. Perhaps this is a slightly different shade?
seeing as i don't see this statement anywhere in this comment section, ima have to do it myself: GET TO DA CHOPPA!
xP
some day I will get this lego
The WOlverine + Metal part was great :D What was that song, though?
all we need is some technic figures to go with this set :p
Очень крутой вертолет! Буду покупать однозначно ! Большое спасибо за хороший качественный обзор еще наже не продающихся моделей автор молодец!
You have made my mind up - I am going to buy this from my local Toyworld store tomorrow! And is that the best star rating that I have seen yet from you - or do you have a perfect set in terms of your star rating that you could refer me to?
The fake "shock absorption" can be easily made more realistic with the gray springs... Why did they not do that?
cool
I think the helicopter is an Mi-26, with coaxial rotors, and a different tail
it is too soon. but I'm waiting for the 2nd half models. the first half models are good but I want to know if a 2,000+ parts model will happen in 2016.
Hi Sariel, just wondering, what would you prefer, this or the 42042 crawler crane? And how do you get all these technic for review? It must be expensive, right?
Oh, how I missed this music!
Which has more space
This or the cargo plane
oh c'mon Lego. stop making amazing stuff i want to buy!!!!
What's with the new colored axles? Are they replacing them all with red and yellow? If so I am going to be slightly annoyed.
$139.99 - $149.99 (depending on stores) if people are wondering. Mine was $129.99 from Toys R Us w/ discount with coupon totally worth the price!! 👍👍
*you can turn this into a KA-50 blackshark*
WOW
I think the body looks like a mil mi 26 soviet cargo helicopter but the twin rotors and the tail are what differentiate it from the real life thing.
12:25 Cute Hamster
Sorry, my english is not so good. If rebuilding in the b-model easily?
The way that the blades are spinning it's a coaxial helicopter.
13:13- 13:39 Lego Cargo Mission Impossible
Lol
I have one and i did it!
16:38, that thing is an antenna I think
+Alex does gaming yeah i think taht too. maybe a lazer beam.
This helicopter is I think inspired by a fictional helicopter (MI-290 Taru) from video game "Armed Assault", itself inspired by the real helicopter Ka-226.
16:50 that's where i'd hide a machine gun
:P
You funny
I have that set
this chopper is in fact based on the KAMOV Ka-25PL HARMONE (1965)
that pointy thingy is an areal
YEA
This lego set or the 42039 is better?
12:15 one day, Lego'll make a model that will actually fly, one day
12:25 fly it up and open the cargo doors XD
This Set Has Less Pieces Then The Fortrex And This Set Costs More, Explanasion ?
oh yeah power functions
Are the rotor blade pieces (aka Wolverine Claws) not new pieces?
Nope.
Another outstanding review man. Set seems pretty cool, but really not liking the colors or stickers very much. The previous technic heli had much cooler colors. I think grey would be a better base color. Also, your partner-the small hairy fellow-seems to do all the talking. He really should let you add your 2 cents once in a while ;-).
2:15 ı see what you have done there
Looks a bit like Kamov helicopters family.
could you please compare it with lego 42025
+jeyesh jey One is a heli, the other is a plane. There ;) Also, I took my 42025 apart ages ago.
you're hamster so funny
What are stickers #3 for? It looks like there 6 of them?
+Ngoc Nguyen Stripes for rotor blades. You can see me apply these at 9:31.
As far as I know #3 and #4 orange panels are not new. First time they came in 9392 set.
+DooMSchneideR1 That's right. But these aren't #3 and #4 orange panels, these are #1 and #2.
To Technic? Wygląda bardziej jak jakiś Model Team :o
'my sticker sheet was damaged'
my lego sticker sheet was -damaged- once
licked by a dog
That's right, breath our air... BREATH IT!! >:D
Breathe*
WillGaming_ Shhh..
karlpc200
SsssSSSNNOORT
the real life insperation is the Kamov 32ka
For the first time, I actually prefer the b model over the a model
