The fact that the casually drops in kratos's theme at the very end and it messed so well is amazing to me I hope that Bear McCreery has more chances to compose for video games because he is quickly becoming one of my favorites
Same as you, I hope we get to hear more from Bear. He did such a fantastic job at incorporating some Nordic sounds into a universal soundtrack that even non gamers can appreciate.

According to Hozier and Bear McCreary, this song was composed as Kratos's inner thoughts, things he observes and thinks, but doesn't share with anyone. I personally think it fits perfectly with Kratos's personality.
The God of War series is one of the best i've ever played. The story, the music, the gameplay itself, the Gods, and Kratos is such an interesting character.
