@candy4lifeeeeee I'm korean, South korean, i am also proud to be korean. Cameroon, i've never been there but i know its an awesome nation, and have awesome people, especially the national anthem. Im jealous you guys because you guys can speak more than two languages haha

I sang this national anthem everyday in school, without even knowing what the words meant. 17 years later, and I only remember the first 2 lines. Now, I have a deep aversion to national anthems in general, they seem outdated and archaic.

do they speak French even though they were German colony?
Yes. Cameroon was colonised by Germany but after Germany lost the first world war their colonies were taken away from them, So Cameroon was handed to France and Great Britain, which is the reason why Cameroon official languages now are English and French. There are still few German slangs in our pidgin.

This video annoys me and here is why. Why is our anthem in English and french? Why didn't they throw in Portuguese and german since it looks like our anthem was written to pay tribute our colonizers. It is sad that with the hundred of language we are not unified by any one of those languages. I am not blaming anyone, the burden is on us to preserve our heritage
