I can totally identify with the recruits, it is reminiscent of my basic training, although we had a far better barracks, but only because we had to polish every bit of copper or brass in sight, the floors had to be polished so the DI could see his face in them, the ablutions had to be spotless at all times, it made us very very careful about our aim, and if it wasn’t up to inspection standards when we formed up to march to our duties the Sgt DI would go round and throw everything in sight on the floor, out the window or some other place that we would have to search high and low to find, but it was still the best decision I made to join the RAF.
1:02 "pax" is "peace" in latin and it is an important word to remember and so is this ☮️ because it is actually eisenhower's [ike] little symbol and the aerial atop new parliament in canberra is similar to this shape ☮️ ✌️
