Nice
Ten Second Songs it's awesome
That was really clean! Damn man! My only constructive criticism would be on the Chester style scream of "I'm not the only one," sounding a little rigid, but -to play Devil's Advocate- Linkin Park themselves had moments like that in Hybrid Theory such as the word, "broken," in the line, "My life my pride is broken," THAT SAID you pulled mainly from Living Things soundscape, structure, and vibes and that is VERY effective, and I was pleased as the track progressed you worked in some Hybrid Theory, The Hunting Party, and One More Light depending on what the track called for. For example, when you needed the break down? Choosing to lead with a moment that could be compared to breakdown from Black Out off of a Thousand Suns, but then merely utilising that to get into a soundscape, structure, and vibe from a breakdown more akin to Mark The Graves from The Hunting Party to get a clean transition from a Living Things style to The Hunting Party? CLEVER thinking. There are more examples than that which make this feel very clean. GOOD F*CKIN JOB MAN. 👏🏼
🖤

Now for In The End in the style of Slipknot
i want to see this.
That'd be aggressive af.
Fourthed!
Pleeeeeaaaaaseeeee
Zane Kite now that would be epic.
I wish Mike Shionda actually reacted to this. Imagine if he rapped in this version by himself
If he doesn't want to, I don't blame him, stuff like this might be just depressingly surreal
Corey Taylor would also be really impressed
Don't do that... Don't give me hope.
I can *SEE* Chester singing in my mind while backed up by Mike..
Holy fuck this is amazing work.
Same, dude.
Same!!
same
you gotta give it to this guy... his ability to understand the sound of a band alone is impressive af then you have him conceptualize and produce something on par with the band's own material...this whole thing is remarkable
Dude straight up. This guy grinds hard. This guy defines musician if you ask me. Fundamental understanding of music. And pure talent.
Edit: allow me to rephrase a complete masterful understanding of music.
Sooooooo agree ! everybdy are impress by his vocal gift (very impressive actually) but me, I more impress by his capacity to understand music enough to capture the other artists signature.
Exactly, it's not just the voice, it's the entire style of the artist he covers. Brilliant work!
He doesn't analyze the whole style of a band what he does is analyze the style of the band in their most known hits. So its not a song in the style of a band but a song in the style of another style. However its still pretty impressive
I totally agree!

He even nailed that "my head is about to pop off" look that chester got when he screamed
"Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover ever made"
Anthony: "hold my vocals"
So we'll be choking him?
Wasn't him Kirk Hammett?
Hold my mic
😂
You honestly nailed the vocals on this one, Chester would be proud dude
Not just the vocals, the instrumentals are on-fucking-point. The whole cover felt so much like the early 2000's Linkin Park.
Agreed , seems either from Meteora or maybe living things (2012)
@@ThePowerofCutleries somebody needs to send to Mike! to Linkin Park. I would love to see what they think.
1.000th like here.
It's cool because he uses both styles of Linkin Park: The old Nu-metal and the new Alternrock
whats nu-metal?
@@sidestreetreaper4203 listen to hybrid theory you will understand.
@@hitm6644 I have it as a CD at home, it´s my absolute favorite. Still I get confused by all the different genres and styles
@@sidestreetreaper4203 well then...
Nu-metal is heavy metal combined with other genres. Like hip hop grunge etc.
@@sidestreetreaper4203 to be fair it's kinda difficult to understand what new metal is at first, because many of the most prominent nu metal bands don't really sound similar at all.
Like Linkin Park and Slipknot.
Or Limp Bizkit and Disturbed.
Or any of the above and Korn.
Some things they have in common though are:
- the use of low guitar tunings that weren't commonly used in rock/metal before
- incorporating other genres
- the omission of solos, often in favour of breakdowns
and last but not least the fact they all got popular in the late 90s / early 2000s. New genres are often first and foremost defined by a generation of bands that all just happen to break out of the existing genres in one way or another. What defines it's sound is more subtle. If you watch Rick Beato's "What Makes This Song Great" on Linkin Park's Numb, you can hear the chorus with only the guitars and it sounds like a chord progression that Slipknot would do. Very dark and dissonant, a totally different feel from the actual mix with the synths and all.
It's like hearing Chester himself cover this song. Truly amazing, he captured the essence of Linkin Park undoubtedly, from the raps of Mike Shinoda to Chester's voice man... This is a masterpiece.

Now we just need In the End in the style of Slipknot: The Gray Chapter
That was perfect
*PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!!!!!*
Gray chapter was horrible.
@@MajinMind To me it was great, the melancholic and mourning vibes mixed with the fury of Slipknot did a perfect shape of gray
@@braynnwinter4019 their other albums were better, new shits not the same without Joey or Paul
With Slipknot each album is going to have different opinions, because each has a unique style, much like Linkin Park:
Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. is a strange mix of many styles, like funk and disco, with some pretty raw metal (namely Anders' screams and heavily distorted guitars) but the album lacks a real focus, with most of the lyrics being about a game they used to play (Rage) I think this is their most unique and most interesting album because of said reasons and many others you can look up on their Wiki page if you're interested (or just listen to it, it's good stuff)
Self-Titled is very agressive and psychotic, even more than Iowa. We also get some weird genres mixed in, with songs like Spit it Out and Tattered & Torn.
Iowa is similar to Self-Titled, but with a less psychotic/insane style and more straight-up angry style. This one doesn't really have any weird genres (except maybe the song Iowa) it's mostly just metal.
Vol 3 is pretty melodic, but still keeps the overall anger throughout. There are some weird stuff (like The Virus of Life and Danger - Keep Away) but otherwise it's pretty tame.
All Hope Is Gone is a hard one to describe, it sounds more "chaotic" than their other albums, but as usual, it keeps the overall anger. Nothing really weird here, like Iowa.
The Gray Chapter is once again pretty melodic, but with a grim and "doomy" style mixed in. I find it the most melodic of all their albums.
We Are Not Your Kind feels kind of a mix of all their albums (except MFKR since it was made in a different era, with some different members) It has some of the weirdness from Self-Titled, anger from Iowa, melodic bits from Vol 3, "chaos" from AHIG and some of the grim style from TGC.
There are some other albums like the Gold Disc (Crowz) which just leaked, and I could go into more detail, but you get the idea.
So yeah, it's hard to find someone who enjoys all their stuff, but I wouldn't consider any of it bad, all of their albums are amazing in their own ways.
The man who could sing like an angel and scream like a demon. RIP CHESTER

Walid Chouari as a massive Slipknot fan yes
TBF Corey Taylor has the voice of an angel, so if he wanted to do a stripped down, melodic version of Psychosocial, he could easily do it. That being said, I don't think he would because this song is meant to be a banger, not a ballad. :)
@@capngeeoff yeah, i like more the Corey Taylor of Stone Sour than Slipknot
I had goosebumps the entire time. This was amazing.
Bravo. Man, this is something! Never seen someone who loves music and interprets it perfectly (authentically)
