@@jamesorsby7553 What other radio does vehicle integration? It $1200 in price with other high end radios like the Alpine Halo 11, which wont display your vehicle information or off road pages. No other radio will display up to 8 cameras, for off road use. But I mean if $1200 is too expensive for you, then just say that. Because, Yes there are other nice radios for cheaper, but they do not have the same features.
I bought this for my 2014 Ram 1500, fully integrated kit. I got it on sale for $999. That was still a little bit above my budget, but an $1800 unit for 40% off..seems to be worth it so far.. I don't have the lag of the menus though. maybe something has updated since your video. I do wish I had the offroad and steering angle screens though.
Ya that offroad stuff came on their more expensive model. Ill check for an update and try it out. I recently lost my ability to monitor engine load guel etc again.
I am looking at adding the fully integrated Heigh 10 to my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock Edition. My question is does it display transmission temperature on the gauge settings? I'm looking at purchasing an offroad camper to pull with the Jeep. I want to be able to monitor the transmission temperature on the highway and off road. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
@@elpilotodeldesierto3113 Yes we did, I havent installed it yet. Waiting on the amp and wiring kit. We did also install their AudioControl PNW-65CS2 speakers with amp. I have a few friends that have the tailgate sub, an it is really clean and nice. I also have a promo code if you are interested.
I'm really looking at getting this for my Jeep and I know this sounds like a moot point, but how does the iPod setting work? Will it connect an older one via the USB cable? Its important to me because I still have my old 80gb iPod and always use it on road trips. Its sentimental for me, but still important.
as for OffRoad use as in Navigation Apps, Front and Rear Camera and Gauges, How does it compare to the JT factory Carplay 8.4, assuming that is what you have in the JT Gladiator? I like mine in the JLUR 8.4 screen that I can load Gaia apps and more, just having a bigger screen and a Front Camera being High Def would be a plus for me. I don't care about the music part, natures music sounds better to me than most broadcast crap does.

Hey buddy there a device you can buy for around $100 that will let wireless Apple CarPlay work with it in case your interested I think it’s carlink 4.0 or 5.0 both make android or Apple CarPlay wireless hope this helps yeah in not using wireless CarPlay was going to keep me from getting it but now that I can add something to make it wireless compatible I think I’m gonna pull the trigger
Ive seen a few things on amazon that adds this capability. I have not been too disappointed with having to plug in the phone but I do feel for the price of this radio is should have come with wireless support.
I have one but I don't like the fact that it does not have album display for xm, and its not wireless carplay. Going to sell and go with Alpine ilx F511
I do wish I knew this before we got ours. So far we are still enjoying it but for the price it feels unfunished. Like they got 80% complete and said good enough lets sell it
@@dasllamas Did you get this resolved? I'm pretty well ready to pull the trigger, just not sure if I need the extra $200 package for the off road package and gauges. If they aren't super stable, that would be an easy answer.
I am seeing this radio on sale rn on Amazon for $599, 25% spring sale….. I am wondering what the catch is. It says it’s from the stinger store full filled by Amazon….. says it’s brand new……. Staring at this like what’s the catch
There are 3 or 4 different models. Not all models have the same options such as the off road pages. Secondly does the one that is on sale on amazon come with the mounting bezel kit, or is it just the radio? Id check the ine that is on sale and compare it to the model that is on their site.
Ok so I compared the store model to the Amazon model and it’s the one without off road maps, does not have the mounting bezel kit. It has all other features….. was listed at $799 and now $599 with the sale…. I just need it first the toslink for my SQ audio system. I don’t need to monitor engine parameters etc. what you think, for the price, is it worth it ?
@@dasllamasok so I realized that I didn’t say this, I am from the Caribbean and the vehicle this is going in is a 2012 Toyota Hilux. I sourced the mounting kit for my vehicle and it’s only costing $35.
You don’t have to do firmware update out the box do you? I did a lot of installs back in the 90s but cd players in jeep were useless 😂 I just wanna get it in and be done with it
They are constantly making updates and changes, you do not have to do them, but I would recommend it. Its not hard, just buy a cheap little thumbdrive, put the updates on it, then plug it into the height 10 usb.
I got 25 seconds into this video and decided that I had to stop to give you a little advice. When speaking to the audience, you need to look at the lens of the camera on your phone, and you need to stop looking at your face on the screen of your phone. When you look at your face on the screen of your phone, it makes me feel like you’re looking over my shoulder and you’re not connecting with me.
I just bought one and love it. I think they are pretty amazing plug and play unit.
I love mine! The fingerprints got annoying fast but I found a product called Screen ProTech and now my Stinger screen is even better!
Great video, great information, thanks for taking the time to put this together
No problem. Thanks for the comment
Good info, thanks
Thank you for your feedback!
Good video. 👍 Helped me decide I didn’t want one after all.
It's terribly overpriced... you can get the same features for less.
It was probably more than I should have spent on a radio but it did everything my wife wanted

Over priced is my main complaint. The user interface is slow and clunky at times. Occasional bugs that require a power off and power on to reset.

How is the screen resolution on it ? Mine is really low even looks blurry
The back up camera video is blurry but I have a low res camera. The rest of the apps and stuff are sharp. Not sure what the pixel count is
Is everything you need to install included? Harness, dash kit, etc.
You need to buy the radio and the install kit. It will come with everything if you get these two parts.
Hey bud do you have tazer mine in your jeep? And if you do how dose it work together
Tazer mini does not work for the JK
Can you change the tire size to correct your mph?
This is just a raduio head unit. It does not have the ability to chance the pcm. You need something like a Tazer to do that

How does it sound. Does it sound cheap
It has a lot of sliders to fine tune the sound for the audiophiles out there. The limits for me are the jeeps oem speakers
why don't you have the gauges working? i kinda assumed you don't need to do anything and they would "just work"?
They worked when I installed them have to troubleshoot with stinger. Possibly my poor install and a wire is loose
