Evolved Mortar gets so much value almost every time you place it. Mortar was already good but Evolved Mortar takes it to a whole new level

@@WWASHDthat’s why you usually run mortar with a second win con. even if you have to play it on defense it can win you a great positive elixir trade and give you a strong counterpush
@@WWASHD personaly just don't play mortar decks. They're too hard to play efficiently, thats why i opted to play mega knight,rg, hog rida, lumberloon freeze as my 4 war decks, just play what your instinct tells you

The worst Win Condition is the Mega Knight, because it lacks the capabilities of a wind condition yet it's still used as one in Midladder decks.

I think they should rework elixir golem to its original concept where when you play it, it uses all your elixir and its stats, (and maybe abilities) are based on how much elixir you spend. This was likely cancelled because it would be essentially 10 cards to balance for only 1 card, but it could be very versatile.

It would destroy every deck he is good in, even the shit mirror ones, cuz you cannot just use 10 elixir and give your opponent more, unless its'op, but then you guess what happens, the elixir golem meta.
And i am an elixir golem player, no shame, heck i even have it at level 14, so i should be so happy with that, right? No, cuz then i would start to get bored of my deck, cuz i play a variant that requires more skills and costs way more, like a 4.0 o sum. And anyways it would make all decks just cheap cards, spells, buildings, 1 mini tank and 10 elixir elixir golem spam, dontcha think? Just a shit idea and there is a reason why they scrapped it, no way to balance a card like that, it would be cool, yes, but not healty for the game's meta, hope you understod my poem lmao.

@@Ranni854 personally I think it would still be pretty bad considering you can spam the other lane as soon as an elixir golem is put down without the opponent being able to retaliate even if the stats are hella op, unless it’s somehow as fast as a lumberjack which would be hilarious but definitely overpowered
You can also just place other offensive units down beforehand to make sure your opponent can’t place a 10 elixir golem in the first place
Playing against Evolved Mortar feels so unfair. They mostly use it with the help of an other cheap win condition like miner, hog rider or skeleton barrel. So often times they can just get one or two mortar (or evo mortar) connections, then use the mortar for defense for the remaining of the game. Evo mortar is just too good of a card, i'm surprised why it didn't get nerfed on the last patch...

3 musketeer decks at one point were super versatile.
alot of archetypes had 3m in the deck.

@danic2795 the only "meta" giant deck is giant double prince which is not used it top 100 at all. Hasn't been for the last couple seasons. But definitely doesn't deserve to be THAT low
@@armaanshahzad2939 there's also giant graveyard, giant sparky and even giant 3m (not meta but still). He deserves to be higher, at least higher than xbow and ram rider.
@danic2795 the issue with giant grave and sparky is that other decks do objectively better when swapping out giant. In sparky- goblin giant simply has a higher win rate. Giant grave has been swapped out for evo knight- or just any other graveyard deck

How funny it would be if Boss just deicided to put the Magic Archer, evo cracker and tornado(and even pre nerf Rocket) somewhere on the list as joke.
To be honest I was highly considering putting magic archer because the past few months it has basically been used as a win condition in the remi eli deck
@@Bosscr As a previous player who does not use proper win conditions (4spell inferno) id say thats would be pretty funny.
I apsolutely regret wasting shards on skeletons instead of mortar.
Skeletons aren’t so bad but they are pretty underwhelming compared to all the other evolutions
@@dando541 I mean they are very good against Prince and PEKKA but its like not taking a building in your deck because you think the opponent wont use Hog Rider and as a F2P it really annoys me because i've only managed to get 2 shards for mortar.
Same I wasted my first 2 shards on skeleton, however I got the 4 shards from the challenge then waited 2 months for the 2 other shards for mortar

Skeletons got a huge buff recently and they are probably top 3 now

Skeleton Barrel is highly underrated imo. Like RG compared to other beatdown, it isn't meant to solo a tower, it's supposed to get constant chip and threaten a ton of damage if they try to ignore it. That drop damage is much more significant than it initially appears as the game goes on, and most ranged cards usually die when trying to defend it for an even trade.
It also holds up much better than Wallbreakers late in the game given that it has two stages and can survive most spells in its first form if something else is tanking for it.
Started watching Boss again, and I feel like why I came back is how enthusiastic he sounds when talking about the game, which urges me to keep watching and complete the video

You should do more ranking videos on other card categories, like ranking swarm cards, buildings, spells, secondary win conditions, ect.

i run goblin barrel log bait as my secondary main. It is slightly below average right now. And you need to be a skilled player to use this deck!
Can you perhaps do a monthly series where you make a solid deck out of all the boosted cards? Like trial and error until you find a balanced deck that works, to help us reach 9000. Thanks
Evolved mortar has goblin riding in the mortar shot and spawns one on landing, but max star level rocket's goblin riding is just cosmetic. wonder if they'll remove that to make the game consistent.

I play mortar zap bait Only 2 months ago and I raised it from 5500 cups to 7000 even though I only have 2 full cards against decks all full or even level 15,just this deck is very good and have skill
as for gob giant i made a beatdown deck with it..pretty op if played well :: Gob giant,dark prince,royal ghost, electro spirit, goblins, musk, magic archer, lightning.. it's a bit on the heavy side but so much fun to play

I was wondering where Royal Hogs would be on this list after all the evos dropped. Surprised they're ahead of so many win conditions, especially considering the prevalence of evo firecracker, but I guess split lane really is that good huh

Of all the evolutions released, I think the evo mortar is the most "balanced" one. Sure, it could do with a bit of tweaking, but it feels like a fair evolution. If I ignore it, I am screwed. But if I place a 3 elixir knight in the opposite lane, it will be mostly fully countered. So I gotta watch out, but its manageable. As for players cycling it fast, thats just fair play (cycling to good win conditions is nothing new in CR).
Unlike pre nerf evo RG or evo FC, where no matter what I did, I was almost guaranteed a negative elixir trade.
Btw, I DONT have the evo mortar. I am F2P af and wait for the day I get my hands on that 6th wild shard. I have collected 5 over the last two months.

Happy to see royal piggies in top 10 I absolutely love hogs they are soo good and most of the time you get tons of value for 5 elixir I also love 3ms they are soo good too if you know how to play them correctly you can literally cycle them as if they were an ice spirit or something if you really know what your doing with the card but as mentioned they aren’t super versatile they pair good with few cards making me respect their rank on the tier list.

I know Boss probably wont see this but I have a question. My deck is currently mega knight balloon lumberjack bats firecracker log minipekka and fireball. I havent been winning very much and I think its because if the megaknight. Its easy to counter and makes my deck really expensive. What should I do
I'm not Boss so you don't have to take my advice but maybe it helps a bit. Idk which cards you have leveled so I will give you multiple things to try. What you should always replace is Log. Snowball/Zap/Rage/Arrows are all better in combination with Balloon or Barb Barrel better for defense and they're all not very level dependent. You can go for a Balloon Miner Deck where you definitely want Zap to Reset the tower onto the miner, Snowball or Rage might work aswell in that spot tho. Mk can go for miner. That should already be solid but also not easy to play, it's similar to the Pompeyo deck. Another approach can be Lumberloon Freeze. In that case you replace Fireball with Freeze and add tornado + inferno dragon for Mk and Mini Pekka. Barb Barrel for Log aswell for a better defense. That should work aswell cuz all the replacements don't depend that much on the level but ofc it still replaces a lot of your original deck. Smth else can be Ram Rider for Balloon. You only need Ghost or Bandit for Mini Pekka aswell as any offensive spell for log. That should be a solid Mk Ram Rider deck if you want that. There are some other options aswell (Pekka Balloon, Mk Royal Hogs, Lava Loon maybe??) but they need a lot of level-dependent replacements so I only recommend these if the levels you have fit well with them. Hope this helps!

oh the irony of the first card in this video, and as for hog I play it this season and I got to ultimate champion top 5000 and almost every matchup is impossible miner wb bomb tower, elixer golem, night witch barbs, gang, lava barbs lol. recruits are so broken too.

I think the one thing you’re not considering with all of these win conditions is that they all have their own strengths and weaknesses, and playing them all the same way leads to some dominating the others. You need to view each win condition with its own mindset.
For example, I’m a Golem player, and I run 3 Muskies in my deck as well. It’s an incredibly heavy deck, but with so much offensive potential. So instead of forcing myself to overspend on defence, I focus on building my pushes. All I need to do is take one tower down, and then I have 3 Muskies in the pocket, which my opponent has to consider throughout the match. I’m reaching for a 2-3 Crown with my decks, as opposed to the 1 with many of the others.

As a midladder player goblin drill isnt actually that bad. The decks there are so heavy that they cant defend the drill in combination with your support and you always get a lot of damage
The best condition you will have is a unnoticed sparky glueing in your tower and one taps it
My tower was at full health, a level 16 sparky glued on my tower, level 11 tower (i have maxed cards for my deck) it one tapped the tower, over 2.6k damage, i desperarely tried to counter the sparky afterwards but it also glued on the king’s tower, took 2 hits with that thing cloned and i had no spells to defend, that was a traumatizing experience
It was gona be good plot twist if you put top 1 is evolved fire cracker. Bc really I use her as a win condition 😂😂 she does alot of damage on tower. She saved me alot

I’m a minute and 30 seconds in, but I have to voice a small issue. I’d classify the skeleton barrel as a secondary win con and for its job in bait decks it’s definitely very good. Also about golem being only effective in x2 elixir: yes; golem decks are designed around playing defense in order to reach that mark and I feel ur not doing golem justice by not considering it’s archetypes’ potential

the three musketeers is such a good win condition. I literally used that card since I got it and now i'm in arena 13 still using it. kind of like log bait, you need for the opponent to use all cards effective against the three musketeers after that, you either got a tower or a 3 crown.

Honnestly graveyard is high there is so many counter a king tower activation destroy it. Knight was a nice boost to it but if graveyard become strong again poison and motherwitch will came back. For me it's around royal hog, it work when mastered, it can be really good but matchup dependant except for the best but you cannot take the best player to tell the strengh of a win condition, else Xbow should be higher. I think it's more like 10(My main deck has a terrible matchup against graveyard and I absolutly hate splashyeard like more than Xbow). For the rest, I agree, maybe some little change but graveyard higher than wallbreaker isn't fair.
elixir golem is a good concept on paper but in play it just is so weird, would like to see it in decks other than the toxic one tho

Hog is one of the worst win conditions in this current meta it gets neutered by one the most common spells nado and full countered with an earthquake against the most common building bomb tower

I don't understand why people think egolem is bad if you think about it it gets tower damage reliably and is only 3 elixir +4 death elixr. Statisitcally it has a high usage rate and a higher win rate on top ladder and grand challenges
