🚨 Another tip: Do NOT use tap water to steam your hats. If you have/buy a steamer avoid using tap water. Filtered/Bottled water works best for your hats.
tap water is fine...Steam cleaners are equipped with internal boilers or water tanks that heat water to temperatures as high as 325-degrees F. At temperatures this high, the water is transformed into steam. This powerful steam can then be used to penetrate microscopic pores on a variety of surfaces to destroy dirt, germs, and allergens.i been using a steam cleaner to clean and disinfect my hats for a couple a years now...no need for soaps, shampoo unless your hat is super grimy.
@@ManuelGarcia-cc4mt not all tap water is the same. Some places have harsher water quality. You use the tap water on your light colored hats in those places and end up with yellow stains on your hats. Better to avoid it.
@@SmallFeetBigHeat I see, thanks. also do you live in a hot place? it goes over 110. I've noticed I wore one of my new hats today and when I went out for like 5 minutes, the brim softens from the heat. causing it to go up a bit. so I thought maybe it would be a good idea for your list to rememeber to hold the brim when u get somewhere cold so it can harden in its original bend so it doesn't ruin
Yoooooo. Awesome content btw. Things I wouldn’t have thought of for my hats. Well, must have for someone like myself who sweats a lot is when you first get your or you could do it now is to waterproof your hats. You can use the waterproofing spray that you use for sneakers or boots or just shoes in general. Make sure to do all around the inside and the outside. Works like a charm.
Hey! Great vid! Do you find storing hats with the back pushed into the front (folded like you get them at the store store) crease more with time? Or do you think what you get from the store is as bad as its going to get? I recently ordered a lot of hats and I know some won't be worn for quite a while. Thank you so much!
how else do you clean your hat? I have sweat stains on a few of my hats that didn't really come off when putting it on a hat cage through the dish washer
Also, i would recommend getting Sneaker Lab hat care kit. It comes with, hat cleaner spray, brush, hat protector spray which prevents tough stains for easy clean. And it come with hat deodorizer spray that prevents sweat stains inside your hat.

Like a scotch guard or Jason mark repel spray, that’s a good idea ! It’ll also help keep some dirt off.

How do you keep the hat shape crisp when you travel/ put a hat in a bag?
That hat hard asf with the green bill, I hate when people have off team colors on their hat.
I just got an ash stain on my Texas rangers burger pack hat. I tried to cover it with the 59fifty sticker.
Clean the hat with the crown kleen and you should be good. I have a video coming soon on cleaning hats
I have a Cleveland Cavalier white hat
Dope video! 🤙🏽
Thanks for watching !
I storage my hats in a cardboard box is that okay? I just now started collecting hats.
It’s fine, but I’d like look into something a bit more sturdy like a storage container.

Depends, if the hats have space between them it’s fine. If they’re packed tightly together it can cause creases
Tide wipes are the same as crown wipes?
Where did you get the white liner from? I don’t want a hat reducer I just need a hat liner to prevent sweat stains
Amazon
Thank You 💯

can u use a regular hair brush as a hat brush?
No
@@SmallFeetBigHeat thanks for the reply i’m just wondering why can’t u do so
@@smgonlykrownz9416 two different kinds of bristles. A hair brush would be too rough on the fabric of the hat and cause it to fuzz up

Whole hat cleaner like spray wise.
You could go outside and a bird could poop on ya hat ...Idk why but that made me laugh. But tbh I don’t even own a hat
It’s happened, not to me but a friend. You don’t own a hat and you still watched the vid ? You’re a real one, thanks for supporting !
I have that Jae Tips 🔥
That’s what’s up 💯
I have an air purifier in my room since I keep my hats hanging on the wall, just so they don't collect as much dust 🤧
I have one too blue air I believe it’s great
