The worst thing about this is that I grew up watching these people and it seems like yesterday but looking at them today and seeing how old they look only reminds me of the fact that nothing stops time and that my own youth is behind me. It kinda bums me out.
It seems like not all that long ago I could run into an old high school friend and they would look the same but now I see them on FB and they all look old now. The girls that were so hot ,are all old looking and its just bizarre how its slips away and suddenly its over. It seems like you will be forever in your 20s and then 30, people mostly look the same but by 40, no way. Kids enjoy your youth because it will be over before you know it. They will be the best times even though it may not seem like it at the time.

I graduated in 1975 and it seems like yesterday. next year I'll be 60. in 10 years I'll be 70. still can't get my head around that. I ride bike about 35 miles a day and still have a 32" waist but when I look in the mirror I dont see the person that reflects how young I feel. I'm starting to accept the reality of aging, but it's not easy. when I think, I'll be 70 in ten years, it kind of puts it in reality. and it's alright.

Bruce Campbell is one of the most underrated, underrecognized actors of all time. The guy is damned good. Can't recall the movie title from sometime during the 80s or early 90s in which he was sent back in time and had to grab a special book in order to return home. The scene where skeletons are doing a Three Stooges reprise of poking him in the eyes still gives me a belly laugh.

Thanks to whomever put this video together. Getting older is normal. But it seems that many have forgotten that and try to fight it. It must be hard to be so attractive and get so much attention and then have no one like you anymore. Because of the industry mostly and not because of looks. But being as self conscious as we are. I can only imagine that the stars feel slighted and feel uncomfortable without the attention and fame. The surgery on the women was always going to be a bad idea. Regardless, great video to draw whatever conclusions people want to draw themselves. :)

When u think about it acting is 12-14 hour days for 6 months then time off then another shoot for a longer period of time. The ware and tare of staying up long ass hours for their shoots must put a toll on their body's.

If you mean "self abuse" due to drugs and alcohol, I could see that, but they have money to feed their habit. a hard life is when meth mary blows seven guys to score enough junk for a couple hours fix and gets her teeth knocked out for ten dollars she stole from one of her johns. THATS a big difference.

I find it silly that people are always shocked because a person aged, as if aging is something new...I find it even more silly when young people make fun of older people just because they are old...unless they plan on dying or are going to be turned into a vampire, they are also going to get old, wrinkle, die & decompose. Its also silly when older people envy young people for looking young, since they are going to get old to.

Completely agree with you, regarding Richard Dean Anderson, couldn't believe it. Sure he's older, but wow, the years certainly haven't been kind to him since Stargate ended. I struggled to recognise him in the first episode of Stargate Universe as he was fuller in the face back then, but never in a month of Sundays would I have said that that picture was him. I'd have thought it was Beau Bridges

I was going to leave a comment about Richard Dean Anderson but you said it all. I'm a huge fan of Stargate and still watch it, but if I passed him in the street now I wouldn't recognise him. I don't think Colonel Carter would want him now!
