- Morocco: colourful markets, glittering souks and shaded gardens. It is said that the finest of these gardens today are the work of artists, romantics and plant collectors from Europe. We set out on a journey to Morocco to discover how they have brought their dream of the orient into garden form.

These are so much more than stunning gardens, a beautiful fragrant lifestyle, this surely is the finest way to live, in serenity, wonder and appreciation. . . Top production all round. . . Many thanks. . . Blessings. . .
Morocco gardens are food for the soul, I wish Morocco people would have show their gardens... they have the real spirit, the happy garden... I celebrate European people enjoy and keep them, but the real spirit is with the Morocco people
I am always amazed how gardens are so much apart of the lives of all cultures, lands and people. No, matter where you are or where you go you can find a garden and people that love them. Thank you for sharing these stunning Moroccan, Moorish styled gardens. I loved see them all.
Thank you for this Amazing project!
You are helping this community n sane world of ours by showing the true value and dedication and potential that can be achieved with love of nature. Thank you to each and everyone who participated in this experience.
There are those critics of anything they can’t have been a part of or jealous of others who sought their Sanctuary and were led to their own adventure and life in a their adopted country. One can see first hand how the amazing peoples of Morocco and the hand of God and yes, wealthy artists, entrepreneurs and writers and half-casts from Europe and elsewhere came to these magical lands as toddlers and children…they were shown so much love and respect for their home away from home that they many moons later found themselves called to return.
Can we not be grateful for what has been achieved instead of being critical! Humility is demonstrated by those interviewed…and love of people and land and peace and respect for what has been given to them. REJOICE, BE GLAD 🙏🏼🩵💛
God Almighty first created a garden... And it is the purest of all human pleasures... I love every leaf and am very passionate about the gardens.
Love and light always radiates from this weekly message, and I thank Sterling, Linda, and team for this gift.
The writing for his production waxes poetic. So nice...
It is interesting to see the different styles of gardening around the world. Thank you.
Easily the best commercial I’ve ever seen.
The video is enjoyable & lovely to see the gardens. The history & heritage of Morocco is wonderful.
Thank you for sharing with all of us CZcamsrs in the US and the world. An outstanding country the Kingdom of Morocco and the the lush gardens preserved by Europeans and others.
Beautiful
Loved it!😍👍👌
artistic views
Stunning
going to use this video for design inspiration. working with concrete is hard work, but very rewarding when its done :)
Bravo. Excellent documentary. Loved it. ❤❤❤
Beautiful.Europeans created gardens on Morocco? What? Everyone knows Andalusians have the most amazing gardens, and they are not European
True!!!
😂😂 I can’t believe Europeans. This is a comedy not a documentary
Exactly
this documentary focuses on gardens created by europeans(mostly french) in morocco
That’s what I thought, but than they only mentioned those created by foreigners and only one native moroccans.
This is a comedy about wishful thinking not a documentary. FYI Jardin Majorelle is Yves St. Laurent Villa Garden .
I love 😘😘😘❤❤❤
Lovely documentary but I'm not sure it is Islamic. I think this is more about traditional gardens than religious gardens. As an African, the gardens look very familiar to the beautiful gardens I saw as a child. It just shows that we are all connected by a common thread.
Perhaps the blue be renamed Touareg Blue :)
How did they keep the water clean?
Beautiful… but I challenge titling a video “The Gardens of Morocco…”, then EXCLUSIVELY showcasing gardens designed by Europeans. I find that problematic.
No difference. A beautiful garden is not reliant on nationality.
Totally disagree with you @@rosemallia5252
😂😂 The Moroccans have beautiful gardens they created inside the traditional homes called Riad because women cover they brought outside inside.
@@rosemallia5252 Well… Yes, and no. You’re missing the point about agency, representation, and cultural appropriation. And I thought your presentation posited that the best and most noteworthy Moroccan gardens are those designed by Europeans, which is untrue. The gardens were certainly beautiful, but I found the conversation slightly lacking.
A riad is based on sacred geometry and orientation from within where you will find focus on the fountain of life .
How amazing!
Its Moroccan by the Moroccans from the Moroccans. Its Moroccan garden not Islamic Islam is a religion not a style of architecture.

Who told you that trees from Europe؟ are you crazy ?😅😅😅😅
I am wondering why the government do not take steps to import the necessary machinery to automate / simplify some of these art works without compromising the originality of them. These people are still living the same very simple and poor life they had centuries ago. Is this fare?
You missed the point. The garden is the output of the process of gardening and cultivating the land and living that process. Plus as these people have emerged themselves in the culture. They are doing it the Moroccan way. 😊.
What ? You want to Europeanise Morocco? All these Europeans left their homeland to live like Moroccans. 😊
40:33 This is amazing. Creating pottery the way it has been done for millennia ! No machine can make this !😊
Another Divisive documentary aimed at dividing the people of Morocco 🇲🇦
Agreed with the previous comment. It was off kilter all along for that reason, when it could have simply made a different claim. Then ending on a note of "dreams of the orient" or "oriental hospitality" was not in good taste.
Although the gardeners themselves had some balanced perspectives. And the series is well done.
Brilliant. Thanks to Europeans for adapting and nurturing the heritages of this land. Very good example.
Yes I totally agree with you! It is thanks to the Islamic traditions !!! Incredible so, the garden isn’t European it is an Islamic garden!
@@user-no4um7cz3f Of course it is Islamic tradition. But those guys deserve appreciation for their good work.
@@user-no4um7cz3f moroccan traditions . u do not see this is saudi arabia or any other arab country . so it is purely moroccan
@user-no4um7cz3f
Not an Islamic tradition. It's a Moroccan tradition. Islam is a religion not a botanical school
@@Alinorosso2003 Look around and you will see. Every region which was under the Islamic empire followed the same pattern and symbols. Anyone can recognize an Islamic heritage no matter where it is. Iran, Iraq, Turkey, India or Spain, look for yourself. This channel also made videos about those areas.
Also, the contry name is not spelled correctly.
Don’t see cats anywhere around…how do they control cats?
From my experience in Morocco, there are delightfully a lot of cats

No much about plants
