Danny was bullied by friendly cats

- Ginger cat Danny from Cornwall UK was confronted by some friendly and excited cats on our walk today. I did have to collect Danny later in the evening. Danny is now fast asleep after plenty of food!
Our Danny Boy 🎶 wasn’t so sure but soon home safe and sound.
Danny was a bit overwhelmed, two against one, even though they were lovely and friendly cats 😀🐈❤️

I can imagine all those fur children playing together very much as human children used to before video games & smart phones took away the simple joys of companionship & imaginative adventures.
They were happy cats, and yes, I remember that world where you went outside as a child everyday and rode your bike everywhere and loved it!

You are so right Barry, these two cats were friendly. I use the term 'bully' very loosely 😀 they just wanted to be friends with our Danny. Hope all is good in your magnificent city!

Danny is so handsome. His coat pattern is majestic. I have a Tabby. I tell him about how handsome Danny is.. but that he ( his name Tabby) is also good looking but Danny more so..

Well now, Danny, honestly? They wanted to be friends and you were the grump! It could have been a grand outing, Lord of the Rings level quest, with dramatic shots of the Cornwall coast and stirring soundtrack. But, no, there went your chance at an Oscar nomination.
Danny was a bit of a drama queen on this occasion! Those two cats just wanted to be friendly, but in Danny's defense, I think the two of them rushing towards our Dan together just spooked him a little 😀

Yes absolutely, and the talkative one wouldn't leave us alone which made it impossible to get Danny home, I had to return to the scene of the action a short time later and there Danny was, sitting on the wall looking very pleased with himself. I wish I had filmed it!
Poor Danny! He just wanted to enjoy a peaceful walk with his Dad which was interrupted by a couple of busybodies! They meant well Danny, they were just curious and wanted to meet you. Maybe next time will go better.

They were just a bit too friendly for Danny, and both at once! Danny couldn't take it, but afterwards at home it was like nothing ever happened 😀🐈❤️
@@dannycatyoung Yes, I couldn’t help but notice. I sensed Danny was a bit overwhelmed since this isn’t something he is used to. I wanted to scoop him up in my arms for a reassuring cuddle. Aren’t they funny though every time they act in control and nonchalant after something embarrassing or stressful, such as the cats’ encounter?! ((( Danny ))) ❤️🐾🐈
Yes absolutely, Danny usually has that confidence about him, which went out the window at that moment 😂 Danny is actually OK when he encounters others cats, but he doesn't usually have more than one at a time to deal with.
@@dannycatyoung Altogether different dynamic when Danny encountered a “gang” of felines! 😉 Meanwhile …. Back home, Danny shook it off. Per usual. 😂

My cat is currently serving 'time in' after his extremely anti-social behaviour to the neighborhood stray.... Danny and the neighbours were model citizens in comparison to my cats asbo behaviour 😻
Oh no! I must admit that our Danny has been guilty of some minor asbo behaviour previously, before Cornwall, but in a territorial sense, so I guess that is acceptable 🐈❤️

Danny, I don't blame you! I hate it when people are overly friendly when I'm not in the mood to socialize - which is almost always 😂 Anyway I hope you have recovered and maybe next time you can psych yourself up to be more social, which is what I do when I'm going out and know I will actually be seeing other people.
Danny does recover remarkably well after these encounters, and this was a minor one but a big deal for our Danny 😀
Oh boy,, looks like Danny likes to be king of the concrete when he goes for his walks.
This was an odd one, because Danny comes across other cats and usually copes ok. I think the fact that these two cats who were probably from the same household and approached him together was a little overwhelming for our lad!

Danny was very happy to be home, and thankfully he doesn't let these episodes bother him. Like nothing's happened. Next time he meets these two friendly cats he'll be better we are sure.
No one is going to mention how _both_ other cats have tracking collars?! Maybe those are more common in the UK, but they're not here in America.

We also noticed that and have not seen it before tbh. I am guessing that these cats are pedigree cats.

Those two cats were friendly, and you are right, the brown one was a bit unstable, hissed at me 😂 But Danny was being a bit dramatic!

At times you may want to carry a spray bottle ( of water) if you think there will be trouble, but those cats didn't appear to be vicious! plus they saw Danny had someone with him! Danny was just being cautious to the sound he heard!
That is a good idea! These two cats were lovely and no threat to Danny, but I think that the two of them approaching our Dan together was a bit too much for him. 🐈❤️

Cats are very territorial. Danny knew, that this was not his territory and so he was very careful to cross it.
Even the other cats were nice to you, Danny doesn't know, why you stick with them. Just give him with your presents backup without being rude to other cats.
You are so right, cats are very territorial, which is one of the reasons this encounter bothered our boy, not to mention that there were two of them rushing towards him 😀We would never be rude to any cat. We are always loving to the cats we meet on our walks with Danny and this was no exception. As long as Danny is ok 🐈❤️
@@dannycatyoung (From my point of view) these cats were just making a statement, that they are around this area. This wasn't dramatic, just normal behaviour.
If they were pushing it, it would be a loud and very vocal discussion about some hours. Maybe with some wrestling and some scratches. But even that is very normal.
The thing in the situation was, that Danny maybe wanna follow you, but if another cat is in between you and him, he can't, if he doesn't want to go for/raise the conflict.
So the options are
* let Danny go for the conflict, if he wants to (normally its a good way to let cats deal with it ...cats only can be friends after they solved the conflict the one way or the other, not before)
* be present but no other cat between you and Danny (otherwise he maybe wanna follow you, but can't because of the others)
* take another route around the territory of the other cats

I have three cats in my home and not one of them socializes with one another. It's a really difficult situation for all four of us (this number includes myself). Danny's just being normal for a cat.👍🥳🪅🪅🪅
