@@chox2001 well in a house in the UK the extractor (which obviously isn’t fabric) has height restrictions, an electric hob needs 650mm clearance above and a gas hob needs 750mm gap. LPG actually burns hotter than natural gas which we use in our homes, so you need to be careful. I’d cut out 2 panels in the cupboard and have the hessian in there and just paint rest of the cupboards green and grey.

the wood filler isnt the problem. the problem is that your using a scraper to apply it, a filling knife is supper flexible and make it so much easyer.

Love this. I have watched your van build from the beginning and wish I'd have done the same 30yrs ago. We love the luxuries of a motorhome, but it is crap for any stealth camping !! How can you stealth in something 10' high ? It's the only problem we find when wild camping. Your van is amazing and you are amusing. Keep up your brilliant video's. Dave x

I quite liked the green with the wood front. But you're right, you have to try things to see what does and doesn't work. It's all part of the process of making it your own. It looks amazing and it's come on so far so quickly now! You should feel very accomplished.

That adhesive on the material may possibly fall away from your unit once you start using your cooker and the heat gets to it plus it was stain from grease etc and go stiff and brittle then crumble. love the efforts though fella!

I can 100% relate to your van build mate, I’ve had my van 2.5 years, I’m on revision 6!! I’ve wasted so much time, effort and money on multiple attempts and tweaks etc. 😂 I use my iPad Pro as my tele, it’s an absolute winner. They are expensive, but I use mine for work, social media, tv, you tube etc so it’s the only device I need to carry. Van looks amazing, good luck with everything. 🚐

I'd have painted the ends of the cupboards a nice matt plum colour as it works really well as an accent to that shade of green.

Mate get the galaxy tab s8 ultra, 14.6 inch screen. It costs a grand but i think it would be well worth it for in the van!

Just a heads up Will. An iPad Pro is a power hungry beast and we found we just couldn’t keep it charged when using it for SatNav. We were using the most powerful 12v charger we could find but it was no good. I asked in The Apple store about this and they advised getting the basic iPad which we find works well as a satnav and for watching videos. Smaller screen though but much cheaper. Make sure the iPad also has a gps chip. Those without sim slots don;t work as well.

Told ya about the iPad and using that with mounts instead (though I understand about the expense). 😝
It can also act as a computer that’s not easy to carry around and do work on (should you need).
