It’s crazy to me because I’ve been to a lot of countries and I’ve always been one to try different food experiences but even with people who live and breathe these different cultures, their are still so many that can’t agree on their own culture of food within their own country which I love because it keeps bringing me back for more!

no really ive been to jamaica for a birthday, i spent atleast an entire day out and about, eating patties. they are flakey, almost like a pastry, i can never find a good recipe because everyone makes them so thick... i miss being in jamaica and being able to get the real thing, the frozen ones and the yt videos on how to make them never compare 😩😩

Watching these Jamaican food videos reminds me of school in East London. The schools meals werent the best but a Jamaican chef was brought in and the food had a lot more love in it.
