- TGIF! Welcome back to the channel, on one of my days off from the Chili Bowl I took the trip over to the mustang building where they have the RC car Chili Bowl! I run into an old friend from the race track and end up picking up myself a midget! Pretty cool to see mini sprint, midget and late model on a real race track. Had a lot of fun with this one even picked up a sponsor for my midget build!

Awesome, I use to race the CustomWorks sprint car and late model here in Fla. You will love it, and it: just like real ones, suck up money just as fast. They didn't have midgets when I raced, those look awesome
You got hooked up! 13.5 is a good place to start.
Go Fast is close to you, but I race down at FAST5 Raceway in Columbus, IN. Tony’s been there quite a few times, as has Keith Kunz and some of his drivers. These midgets just came out, but I imagine we’ll get that class eventually down here too! They look so cool and I bet they’re really fun to drive!
That's awesome, have fun with the new build. I run 1/14th scale on the backyard track, wish I had the space to run 1/10th. There's a couple fun vids on my channel.

sweet,years ago i was into traxis trucks with the lipo batteries n castle creation motors. if youv'e never seen those,there so powerfull they will do wheelies no problem. 80 mph easy,now if they made a sprint car kit for them,it would of been perfect. but they are way more powerfull than what those are.
Believe it or not, but they did some of this YEARS ago at Haubstadt in the infield. ( Back when we pitted inside the track!!!!!)
I recently bought a 1RC 1/18 Midget. Have been thinking about getting it wrapped like your car too

I race 1/18 scale 1RC cars. Winged sprint, silver crown & super late model. I also buy my wife stuff or let her buy whatever that way I can race more cars.
Can’t wate to see how it turns out. I want to get one but I’m putting my money towards a full size midget

rc chilli bowl? hah now I have seen everything but just like many competition it is ligit and intense, but the tiny cars its kind of cute but like a cute kitten it has fangs and raging claws if you dont respect it, and competition is real though just a hobby to some, like archery or shooting for me or preservation of history and keeping old things in use, after all just cuz its not the main show anymore or obsolete dont mean its not good or cant do a job like steam power, it can do a job,
oh and up in ashlee indiana they have an rc track dont know if its circle but they have rc racing and a hobby shop up there along that road just off the interstate 69 you have three rivers archery the largest traditional bow and archery supplyer by product lines and square footage in the world as well as the world home and inventers of archery tag . that is if tmez is in the auburn area for car stuff we have tons of antique cars and auctions if you like cords auburns and dussenburgs after all the dussys made a few indy cars in the early days.
the mini rcs look just like the real thing to a tee though and its carbon fiber looks like too.

Whitt's stuff is garbage unless you're a team driver other than that don't buy anything from them because you will not perform like you think. Way better products out there for the money. Do some research first. If you have access to a stator Checker and a rotor checker that'll show you numbers that will show you what you're getting. Sorry Whitts just make a better product.
