    There was plenty of world class players on that pitch i must say. Leeds team was a pure talented team full of English players, hope Leeds come back to the top flight soon.

    I'm a Leeds. Even now I'm gutted that this team imploded, bower assault case, financial mismanagement and mass exodus of talent. Can't wait to LUFC back to the PL. Also Oliver Dacourt was brilliant to watch, TV cameras never showed his movement off the ball and his midfield tackle rate.really underrated player.

    I remember this. Leeds had gone a long time without a win against them and it was a big weight of their shoulders. I know that feeling as a Liverpool fan who'd just ended a similar run 2 years earlier.

    The main reason O'leary got the sack was that he refused to sell rio, the leeds decline was just starting and the board wanted cash for the accounts. This was the last season that man utd could pick the league for the best players. If only we kept O'leary and rio. Venables and barmby was utter shite for us to be honest. Atleast we made them pay for rio and it shows just how much an impact that leeds team had on the league. MOT

    That Beckham elbow would be a red card these days. Woodgate card & penalty as well. The EPL has changed so much in just 20 years. And not for the better. It's all Hollywood along with the $$$$ these days. I think VAR should have been limited to strictly essentials. Great memory. Thanks to Lars for uploading it. This was the best team we've had since the Revie years. Bielsa worked wonders to get his group of low level players into the top flight. He was literally a magician! He made ordinary players look good for one whole season.

    I can understand Arsenal fans calling the likes of Cashley Judas because Arsenal only ended up being less strong than Chelsea because of switches like that which just made the slight difference I mean Arsenal got to a ChampionsLeague final before Chelsea did but Leeds calling Ferdinand Judas is embarrassing especially as they were a lower league team less than 2 years later and Ferdinand stayed at a giant club like ManUtd for a dozen years amd is a club legend and any Leeds fan who still thinks he made the wrong decision are idiots where as Cashley tarnished his legacy at Arsenal and didn't do that great anyway at Chelsea he won less league title's in more time spent at Chelski. Fluked 1 CL but it's not like Arsenal wouldn't have won 1 if they'd kept their team that got to 2006 final.
