Actually these two songs or Türkü as we call them are characteristic to a minority religion group in Turkey called Alevis. Dancers also perform a modern interpretation of Semah, ritual dance. Alevi culture, prevalent among Turkmens, embodies elements of pre-Islamic Turkish religion, particularly beliefs centered around 'Goktengri,' the sky god." Unfortunately, Alevis have faced various forms of oppression throughout history like discrimination and marginalization and their representation with these songs is really important.

90% of Turks do not like most of the songs recommended to you. This is like recommending the heaviest heavy metal to people who don't listen to metal. I'm not just talking about this song and folk song, except for a few of the songs you've heard before, they are songs loved by a 1% group. These are the people who follow you and recommend you. I have to write because it disturbs me that Turkish music culture is remembered with such bad works. None of the songs you heard except Mabel Matiz and Şebnem Ferah appealed to 99%. I just thought you should know that some singers are already known for their hostility to the state and support for terrorism. These unqualified people are especially recommended to you.
