How to Set Up Routines in the Cync App

- Scenes and Schedules have been combined into Routines. Routines can be set up to automate processes that need to be done repeatedly, such as turning the porch lights on every evening or turning off the playroom lights at night. Let’s get started! Learn how to set up Routines in your Cync Home.

Thanks for creating this! I wasn't quite sure how to create a good morning routine to get my lights to naturally turn on at 6am, but didn't want to wake my sleeping wife by previewing it while she was in there. I'm excited to give this a go!
If you want an extremely frustrating experience and have lots of time to waste trying to make one simple device go off and on automatically , then this is definitely for you . I can only imagine the horror of trying to make multiple devices operate correctly . So, if you’re the type of person that’s always looking for ways to make life harder , buy it today !

I play with this timer 3 days and I can't make it work right. I want outside light ON in the evening and OFF in the morning.
So I set start as sunrise and off as sunset as recommended, but it works vise versa, no light at night and light at day time.
Same issue with specific time start 6.00 and end 21. 00 Lights are on between 6.00 and 21.00 and off the rest of the time (night).

This is the worst thing. Bought one package of 5 lights that explicit said they were SOFT WHITE SMART BULBS and the illuminate in yellow!!!!!!! 😭 never found where change the color. The app does not show it

Question! I plugged in all light bulbs and turned on. Added them all. Created a routine for sunset and sunrise feature. When will this actually go into effect because the lights just stay on, will this go into effect in the morning and turn off then back on again later?
Hi there! When you first choose this option, the Cync app will prompt you to input your zip code to give you the most accurate Sunrise and Sunset times. You can choose for the schedule to happen at exactly Sunrise/Sunset, or you can choose for the schedule to occur at a specific the time of day. i have a routine setup to turn on at 6:50 and off at 7:15 and i want it to fade from dark to light between the in time and off time but can’t seem to get it. any tips?

I have 4 bulbs connected to a routine that are set to turn on together at 7pm and off at 6am. They worked fine for a little bit, but after adding a fifth bulb to the same routine, now everything is wrong. Only 2 out of the 5 turn on through routine.

Make sure the power to the light is on, insert bulb, sync to phone; you're done. Follow the prompts on your phone for the setup.
how do i get this to work with my iphone

End time for schedule - “we’re going to skip that for now”…. That’s why we are here, are you kidding me?
Does the schedule work even if I’m not home?
Hi, there. In short, yes! Once a schedule is successfully configured, it will run as planned, whether you are home or away.

Sigh. Exactly how we do it. Works for a few days and then stops. Have to delete and redo this entire sequence of programming several times a week. It’s comical at this point. 😂
