It’s crazy that this is the only NB exhaust install I could find on CZcams. This helped a lot, even though there’s a slight difference with the NB1 and my NB2 SE.

It doesn't matter what you're working on, those girls make anything absolutely adorable. My daughter, back a couple months ago when she was that age (---- she's 25 now ----) would be all over anything I was working on, be it cars, old hot rods, motorcycles, lawn mowers, anything with dirt and grease on it, she was all over it.
I thought I started my daughter young, you got me beat by a long way! So adorable, great assistants!

I think it's so cool that you are teaching the girls how to work on cars. Please remember safety. Get them some clear safety glases and let them decorate them. Fantastic "Daddy" skills. It always helps to have an extra pair of hands

Hell yeah...lol. I got alot more going on the car getting it ready for drifting. Mostly reliability, safety, and the entire "Destroy or Die" catalog for the front end.

what i did to counter the tapping on the back by the tie down hook was use zip ties as spacers on the 2 rear exhaust hangers so it doesn't swing back and forth tapping the metal it works great and you can just snip them off later without having to modify the tie down hook and also the isr sounds pretty bad ass with a silencer on makes it more angry roadster sounding.
Thanks for the tip. I got stiffer exhaust hangers from Flyin Miata(not installed yet). I think I'm going to have a local muffler shop just remove that tie down hook by cutting it off. IDK yet.

@@mr.twosix np I'm selling some carbon Miata tail lights if your interested in the future if you want a slight weight reduction and a cooler look. the nb1 tail lights are pretty bland looking as is lol. if you want pics I can send them.

hey man, is there any way you got it to not rub against the bumper? For some reason my tip rubbed against my bumper and it burnt the bumper
The previous owner of my car had done the bumper cut, so I didn't have that issue. Maybe make the exhaust cut-out a little larger to help with your issue. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

post video edit: jokes aside if you dont like the idea of the padding you put between the tow hook and the exhaust tip. you can always remove the tow hook because i guess its not even recommended that they are used in any kind of towing. im sure people have before but apparently they where more for shipment purposes in a stationary fashion and as a secondary hold down anyways. either way great video and nice car aswell 👍

So did the ISR kit bolt right up the headers perfect fitment? I got a CEL for bad Cat and im in FL with no emissions and im looking to go catless.
Correct, the ISR kit bolts right up to the headers. I didn’t have any issues mounting it.

I have this exhaust it won’t pass emissions correct? Cause this exhaust doesn’t have a cat or does it
Correct, installing this exhaust removes the cat on the midpipe. In Florida there's no emission testing so I can't really help you on that. I would assume that it wouldn't pass emissions.
@@mr.twosix thanks man that’s all I needed to know. Assumed the mid pipe only has that resonator and it’s a spec Miata exhaust so yes no cat would make sense thanks brother

how bad is the drone/cabin noise on this exhaust
It's not that bad once you're cruising. As you're getting up to speed, it can get a little droney. It's subjective, and I don't think it's that bad. I've had a lot worse and unbearable drone on other cars.

How's the drone/noise levels inside the cabin when going 70-80mph on the highway? Very nice video!
hi, sorry no one provided an answer. at 3000 rpm, the drone seemed to pressurize the cabin. once you were at 4000rpm, so about 80mph, the drone was significantly reduced. this is from my experience with a 1.6 93 miata. i like this exhaust enough, to purchase again with the next miata build.
Hey do they bother you in Florida for modifying your exhaust. Like did this specific exhaust cause you problems
Nope....there are no smog checks or law enforcement bothering because your car is too low or too loud.
I have seen tickets for yellow headlights and tints that are too dark. But those are usually fix-it tickets so you can get out of those without having to pay for the ticket. Just return it to stock and you'll be good. They are extremely rare at this point.
Law enforcement is more focused on speeding, reckless driving, and quads and dirt bikes on the street at this point.
The only thing that sucks is that the roads are flat and straight.
Other than that,I love this state.

Just remove the toe hook. It actually a tie down and not the same as a tow hook. It 's not safe to tow from. Plus you have 2 of them. It common to remove.
But, Uhm jack points. :-|
The plan is to get a bash bar with Jack point in the near future.

I did not have a CEL, after removing the cat.
Will the exhaust pass emissions? Also what size are those gaskets?

What rims are those?
The wheels in the video are Rota Slipstreams in 15x7 et40. The wheels came with the car when I bought it.
Aftermarket top?
Yes, the top is from CCP Fabrications. It's fiberglass, I did a video on the top and trunk that I got from them.
