This was an original EDM track by Fisher released in 2018. The only words were "Losing It". Ren had lots of room to play. A huge number of pop-culture references to movies, TV, pro-wrestling, and other musicians. And Squid Game. "Power" is one that Ren did all the beats, mixing and editing. For some different Ren, go for The Big Push "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop". (Go for the "Red Suspender Ren" performance.)
If Ren uses someone elses beat he calls it a retake, and gives the original artist a shout out in the song.

Yeah, The Hunger was 100% Ren, from the ground up, but this as they said used an EDM track from an Australian producer (Fisher) to layer on top of. They're both amazing tracks!
Losing It is a Grammy winning EDM track by Fisher. Ren remixed it and added some of his own flavor to it. This is what he came up with. Another good one is his retake of Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve.
Did you know that he got a bass gitar from the bassplayer of The Verve after he made the retake.....ren made a short on that. That is epic to see this respect for Ren unbelievable 😮😮😮.
"Losing it" by Fischer is an edm track. Ren added to the production as the song went on. He does a few other "retakes" where he just takes the beat and uses his own lyrics. Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve, a Fat boy slim track and a Foo Fighters track. Other then these and a cover or 2 he does make his own beats though. Hes recently said in an interview producing beats is what got him into music, he started singing and rapping because he couldn't find anyone else to do it for him.

One of the many cool things about Ren's videos is that he filmed all of his videos right there in Brighton UK, South of London. With Google Earth you can find many of the locations. The Hunger location is on the east end of the beach.

If you haven't checked out Illest of our Time you should. As well as his other stuff, How to be Me ft Chinchilla (live) version. His songs with Eden Nash Ocean and Humble. Dominoes is great. Money Game pt 1 and 2. Crucify Your Culture. Blind Eyed with Sam Tompkins, all versions of that song are great. Think you already did Genesis but if not definitely check that out as well. The retake beats are from other artist, he adds the lyrics to it. This beat is also called Losing it by Fisher (DJ). I tried searching for Ren Losing it on Spotify but only found the original Fisher beat track. Also, i loved that Ren used the Fish Cam for the Fisher Retake video.

The building he's sitting on top of is just outside of his old apartment in Brighton, at the corner of Castle & Stone street a few blocks from Hove beach. He's currently back in Brighton for awhile then going back to Anglesey to visit his family, Joe's parents and the rescue crew that helped to look for Joe after he jumped into The Swellies. He also filmed The Big Push song Bongo Bong on the same rooftop with his mates and likely wrote several other songs there as it was undoubtedly a place he would go to be alone, to think and to be inspired overlooking the city. Truly a special place in history that will be brought up for years to come.
