I have the exact same pair of Madewell shoes! I got them about 9 months ago and I've DESTROYED them with how much I wear them! They stretch the more you wear them though so if you haven't exchanged them yet then I would keep the smaller size. I find my heel slipping out of mine every now again and they were perfect when I first got them.
