Lani Misalucha's restraint in attack and explosive escalation is what Katrina has been working to master for the last 5 years or so. Her head voice and vibrato is just otherworldly that Katrina just cannot find the placement to nail it. Lani is one of the very few local few singers that actually learn songs from sheet music first before hearing them

She is one of my absolute faves. The title roughly translates to "I'll just love you tomorrow". It's about somebody who finds their soulmate too late. Basically asking for the soulmate to wait for when they are both free of their current relationships.

This really is one of the best examples of an excellent vocalist and an excellent song. It's like a master class of technique and putting in just the right amount of dynamics and belts and runs, to express the emotion in the song.. I'd say this is a sample of a classic OPM song where melody and the story are the key features. You might enjoy it even more if you knew what it was about. It was elegant and masterfully done.

Lani brings me to tears. Somehow the fact that she sings with her eyes closed the whole time adds to the ethereal quality of her performance and talent. She is a throwback to the Goddesses among Philippine singers like Dulce, Vernie, Kuh, Mitch, etc whose vocal richness and character are so distinct and unmistakeable.

It's been said that when you have a Whitney Houston Minus One/Multiplex, the vocals you hear there were Lani's. That's how good she was back then. It's great that she has come into her own and just like fine wine, she keeps getting better as she ages.

Lani Misalucha is a veteran performer here in Las Vegas where I have lived for the past 20 years. I have seen Lani Misalucha's own Las Vegas show and her shows with The Society of Seven, a famous singing group from Hawaii.
The Society of Seven and Lani were regulars in Las Vegas' entertainment scene . This was during the earlier years when Celine Dione was still performing at Caesar's Palace's Colosseum. Lani is a talented singer with classical training who wowed us audience with her rich tone, expressiveness and amazing range. She was a gift to us Las Vegans from the Philippines. We simply love and adore her.

She lived and worked in Las Vegas and performed in Las Vegas from 2002 until 2013 on almost daily basis with a Filipino band named "Society of Seven". She is a very versatile artist; she sings pop, rock, jazz, soul, rhythm and blues , and operatic arias. She was so popular in Las Vegas that she was called "New Siren of the Strip" and the Las Vegas mayor in 2009, Oscar Goodman, designated December 4 as "Lani Misalucha Day" in the city.

Luxurious in itself, settled, matured and rich in tone, resonation and modulation - Iâm 54 and instantly fell in love to her attitude, her grounded and humble personality. And we know how supportive we filipinos can be when our fellow filipino represents the name of our country on the global stage . this is no surprise. she grew up in a family of musicians since the spanish era. itâs almost unfair. she already a pro before she was even born
Sadly as of the moment Ms Lani has been suffering from the serious effects of bacterial meningitis that she acquired a couple of moths ago from accidentally consuming contaminated pork. According to her she lost her hearing on her right ear completely and her left hearing has been diminishing as well. Aside from hearing loss she also suffers from vestibular dysfunction. She took a couple of months of rest and was able to come back just last Dec. She said in an interview that she suffered depression and almost accepted that she can no longer be a singer. Her performances lately are severely affected because of illness but us fans are still hoping for the best and that she completely recovers from it. She will always be our one and only Asia's Nightingale!

Lani is a legend in the Philippines, she even has a Lani Misalucha Day in Las Vegas (Dec 4). Unfortunately, she and her husband contracted bacterial meningitis causing her to be permanently deaf in one ear and suffer from chronic vertigo. She even said she contemplates retirement as she already achieved a lot in the industry and she does not need to prove anything else anymore. Whatever she decides, she's an inspiration to many Filipinos.

The guy who Waleska was wondering who in that Christmas song by abscbn talent is Martin Nievera. Martin and Lani Misalucha both have been resident singers at the Vegas strip with the likes of Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, Sinatra et al.
Lani comes from a family of artists who are trained in classical music - both in singing and instruments. You should hear her sing classical music as well. She's so well-rounded as a singer. You guys used the right word to describe her voice: EXQUISITE.
They are a family of singers and Lanie used to do back up vocals for one of the popular singers back in the days. Regine actually came to the industry first and Lanie a little late but die to her voice, she was noticed despite the young singers that came to the scene with her, she rose above them.
