The first time I watched the part where Cap says “Avengers assemble” was the only time I cried at a movie. The scene is beautiful and definitely made this my favorite movie.
I love the sigh of relief Cap gives after just seeing Black Panther, Shuri and Okoye. He was completely prepared to fight an army alone but knowing he has friends by his side no matter the odds, gives him that more hope. Most things have already been said of this scene, but the logistics of creating it is what truly impresses me. How the scene was constructed in order that everybody got to be in focus for a while, just looking for continuity errors in this sequence (I know there are a couple) must have been a gigantic undertaking.

Oh my God, this scene. I had ALL the emotions during this scene. I was crying. I was screaming. I was laughing with joy that they were all back. I was cheering them on, as they rallied to fight Thanos's army. Just seeing the HOPE on Cap's face, when he sees the brave and noble King T'Challa and his warriors coming through the portal, and then Sam and all the rest, following after him, you can just FEEL the hope restored as they prepare to fight. And then, Iron Man and Thor see their army and they find the strength to get back up too. And the LOOK that is shared between Cap and King T'Challa....that respect and "let's defeat this enemy once and for all, and get this done" that is passed between them....I don't think we will ever see a more epic scene in a Marvel film. This scene gave me CHILLS.
The entire battle is a chain of badass moments end to end. It's 30 minutes of non-stop badassery from "Let's kill him properly this time" to "And I... am Iron Man ".

Its perhaps a sad thing that Stan Lee passed away, before the Grand Finale of his masterpiece and life's work was displayed with this sort of spectacle and bravoure. A shame this gréat and brilliant mind couldnt relish in the joy and excitement of the masses. Perhaps there's some solace in knowing that whatever Marvel-movie we might enjoy after his passing, that Stan Lee will be there with us, watching over our shoulder.. Wanna know which shoulder? On your left!
Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa So true!! Now I’m glad that Hope loves and digs this superhero stuff and I hope we’ll see her and Ant-Man again in the future. Especially in the upcoming Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
I have also thought that was amazing writting. Thor feels like he failed the most and on top of it has failed himself. Him being the first one to scream and charge, characterizes all of those feelings in one single moment. Amazing.
it’s also amazing how six unlikely friends went against an alien army with the god of mischief and now there’s thousands of them in almost the same battle, just on a larger scale
This will probably forever go down in history as the greatest movie scene of all time. This isn't your ordinary preparing for battle scene, it's a culmination of 11 years worth of movies.
I watch this quite often and every time I do, I tear up, growing up with all my action figures on the floor imagining a huge battle like this come to life on the big screen quite literally was like a dream come true. Beautiful moment for me for sure.
Theyre gonna do something similar to this again but I feel like its gonna be the avengers, xmen, fantastic four and new heroes that get introduced. It would be cool if the event was based on the onslaught saga where they came together to defeat him.
the fact that they chose to make captain america the last one standing and made him get up alone to fight an army just shows how the mcu knows their characters
An underrated moment. He refuses to stay down, one final time. Getting up even though He has every reason to yield, to accept the inevitable. Somehow he finds the reason, resets his arm strap over a likely broken arm, and marches to one last stand. What's going through his head? Peggy? Bucky? All the people who aren't there to fight for? He is that last man, standing against the storm, to hold off doomsday for just one more second. Brought a tear to see that the writers got Cap right.

Wait for the next Endgame like MCU or Avengers movie, the MCU goes on, so I think they'll make another one at some point, and right now SM NWH is coming quite close to it.
I watched this in theaters a few days after the movie released. I’ve never experienced a more exhilarating feeling from a movie. The whole theater cheered, the head to toe goosebumps and chills. This is, hands down, one of the greatest scenes in cinematic history.
I swear, you dont see 200 people at a *Movie Theater* shouting, crying, clapping together this often. When falcon said on your left, everyone just realized this is not a movie, it is an *Event*
Agreed, my theater went dead silent when we first heard Falcon speak up. Then some cheering as Black Panther and Spider-Man came back. Dead silence again when Cap yelled "AVENGERS!" And more cheering when everyone started battlecries. I even heard one person yell "give 'em hell!"
This and Infinity Ware had so much impact on the audience. Infinity War post Snap in my Theater was dead silent the whole scene, not a whisper or a cry of despair, just pure shock. Endgame the same, dead silence as Cap stood up against Thanos and his Army... All until Falcon said "On your Left", and each 'comeback' was getting louder and cherrier.

Still brings tears to my eyes. What a finale

When Steve tightens the shield's strap to somewhat close the wound....that is a badass moment.
The entire battle is a chain of badass moments end to end. It's 30 minutes of non-stop badassery from "Let's kill him properly this time" to "And I... am Iron Man ".
The fact that whole MCU was in the fight shows how powerful thanos was without stones also🔥❤
And a moment of silence for those who weren’t in the theaters when this happened

What about the “can you move your seat up” call back from falcon and the winter solider?

From which one?
@@g.d.graham2446 i reckon it refers to the scene in Captain America Winter Soldier, when sam was running and capt made it like a race between them and he would say "on your left" to sam, when he sprinted away

I think he did that same scream when he couldn’t lift his hammer in the first Thor movie

I have also thought that was amazing writting. Thor feels like he failed the most and on top of it has failed himself. Him being the first one to scream and charge, characterizes all of those feelings in one single moment. Amazing.

An underrated moment. He refuses to stay down, one final time. Getting up even though He has every reason to yield, to accept the inevitable.
