It is through YHVH’s promise through Avraham that I a Native American gentile have a grafting in to the wonderful Chosen, Israel 🇮🇱. God promised me salvation through the Jewish messiah, Yeshua. As I read in Ezekiel 16; I’m like that little one left in the field bloody and naked and the God of Israel clothed me, kept me and called me His own. I hope that I NEVER take Israel too lightly. Sister Laurie. I’m not sure about your response. As I look at scripture; there are still so many things hidden that we won’t know till they come about. And yes; we need to be aware as John is told. I think in our Bibles in Revelation 13; that this calls for wisdom. This being said; we still need to continue to do what Yeshua said; to continue to share the Good News with a lost world 🌎. I've been a happy "gentile" since I understand Ephesians 3:5 "This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus".

It was so impressive and enlightening to listen about Yeshua the Jewish Messiah and His Jewish followers from Dr.Mishkin. I am a Gentile believer in Jesus Christ 🙏 from India where millions like me from different faiths now believe in the true God because of Lord Jesus's compassion and sacrifice of Himself on the Cross ✝️ for all humans He had made. We ❤the Jewish people and pray for Israel remembering that Lord Jesus Christ came to earth as a Jewish baby. Thank you! It wasn’t until I came to Yeshua that I truly have been able to rejoice in my Jewish roots. The whole idea behind replacement theology makes me cringe inside. The gospel is to the Jew FIRST and also to the gentile. Jesus entered the world a Jew, lived perfectly as a Jew, crucified King of the Jews and resurrected on the third day as our living Hope and will return as the Lion of Judah!!
It sure makes me cringe too. I came out from "church" 16months ago and joined a small community of Messianic believers who used to be protestant or catholic, now we are just grateful to have our eyes opened to the Truth. Yahweh is uniting those two sticks and calling Ephraim out of the nations to identify with their roots🙌🎪🙌

Is that concept the " replacement theology" I hear others mention? How did u come to your current understanding of this divorce and re marriage? As I was listening to Dr. Mishkin, I noticed how collected his thoughts are that he can explain a 2,000 year span of Jewish history in 3 minutes. And it amazes me how it seems like I just read an entire book. Gift of God's wisdom.

John 15 is one of the most beautiful passages in the Bible in my heart.
Never done a DNA test but as far as I know I am not Jewish. I have been grafted into The Vine however, and like our Father Abraham, I am a Hebrew (by verbal definition) because I have crossed over from the ways of the world to the ways of Yah the Most High. And I could only come to this most sacred place by the drawing of the Holy Spirit to Yeshua The Messiah being the Door to the Father.
May His Kingdom come and His Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

VERY enlightening! I never knew there were Messianic Believers during the Holocaust! I have always loved the Jewish people and the nation.

1967John, from what I heard in the vid it was just how the history played out. And when we have unseppressed history it has much more enrichment. Of course the gospel is to be proclaimed to everyone and thankfully is! Personally I'm not behind a microphone but do try to share the gospel when my Lord Yeshua leads me to!

What I don't get is this "jealousy" because TRUE followers of Jesus...jew or gentile should be happy together because we celebrate and believe in the one and same Creator!! There should joy in the house....one heart and one faith equals unity. All TRUE believers let's be happy in Jesus's name ...Amen

The Prodigal son story tells the story of that son returning to his Father and his Father's land.
The first story in Luke 15 is the Shepherd leaves the 99 sheep to go after that one lost sheep.
The Jewish population is less than 1% of the world population.
Later, Yeshua tells of two sons, one leaves and goes abroad, away from his father. But later, during a severe famine (like Joseph's story), he returns to his father.

Christians don't replace Jews. We are grafted in to the Jewish branch. Anyone who thinks Christians replace Jews as God's people is either ignorant of scripture or wilfully twisting scripture. Not all Jewish people belong to God nor do all gentiles. Only believers of the Bible. God knows who are His. People can only fool themselves.

Yes I when I first went to Israel and did a course in History of Judaism Hellenisation of church and persecution of the Jews with Inside Israel , I shed any tears and it opened my eyes further to the connection and relevance of Israel and the Jewish people to the story of creation and humans and I was forever changed. And discovered my Grandmother was born of a German Jew, brought up in England , it shone a whole new light of course on everything biblical. I have one cousin that. Believes as I do, but there is a lot of the family who are oblivious . Some even antisemitic.

After reading the New Testament 5 times, the Holy Spirit said to me, now read the Old Testament. When I read it, I immediately feel in love with Israel and YeHoVaH’s people because I learned how much YeHoVah loves them! I am burdened for them and witness with love and hopefully wisdom. Praying always, interceding and watching as a watchman on the wall knowing the time we are living in. I long to see all of Israel saved, their eyes opened, their hearts surrendered to their Messiah who loves them!

Amazing! When Christianity stopped being persecuted and later became an official religion, myriads of Romans were baptized without preparation and Messianic Jews, who were no longer in the majority, lost much of their ability to influence and correct the direction of Christianity. The Nazis were not Christian; In common with all totalitarian 20th century movements and the French revolution, atheism underpinned it. I think they get called Christian because a lot of Germans were Lutheran. I also would like to point out that Hitler was Catholic. He was raised by the Dominican Order of the Roman Catholic church.
Once The Almighty pulled me to Him. I was raised between the Catholic and Lutheran man made religions. Listening to my grandma who in secret with a friend Maria while they prayed, studied Isaiah, celebrated strange holidays and food restrictions did I feel a power to draw closer to Jesus as These wonderful women shared gospel and Isaiah 41 52&53. Then the end where Israel would return to faith. My Grandma's family immigrated from Poland before occupation. Many letters shared men boys and most relatives had been slaughtered and women ran to caves. I'm 69 now. Love Yeshua and never was allowed to accept replacement theology. My Grandma's faith in the restoration of the Israelites and Hashem's unwaivering commitment to His own covenant with Himself. Israel was always His heart.

I attended a Church of Christ with my family shortly after my conversion. As soon as I understood what replacement theology was, we never went back. I believe God's word, magnified above His holy name. I recently received a phone call from one of the members, who informed me one of the pillars of their congregation was caught molesting children. I can't help but think their heresy removes the Lord's protection.

God used the book of Job (the search for the FATHER) to reach my heart during a time of grief. Could also be we are genetically from Jewish tribes unknowingly but everything is lost in WW2. But isn't "Greek" here meant as a metaphore for Gentile? Many if not most of the Gentiles in Paul's orbit being Greek speakers? How otherwise could this verse possibly apply to OFI' s ministry as to the contemporary Greeks?

I just can’t understand how anyone who calls themselves Christian or believers in Jesus, Yeshua, could be antisemitic. I don’t understand how anyone who reads the Bible, Old or New Testament, would believe that the Church replaced Israel.
We have a Jewish Messiah, and the Israelites will *always* be God’s Chosen!

This is the best explanation I have heard of how Christianity evolved from its Jewish roots and the slow trickle back now to its Jewish origins. The reality though is much of the Western world especially Western Europe has given up on Christianity. The true miracle is the rebirth of Israel, the fulfilment of prophecy.
How refreshing getting back to hear this teaching after Oct 7th. I was planning on taking the course, but after what happened everything got scattered. I even totally forgot about this and the wonderful words of wisdom. I wish I took the course. I can’t help to see a parallelism between the holocaust and this second holocaust now in Israel. The messianic Judaism in the raise among Jews and the enemy coming to destroy the brethren trying to stop them. I can also see the similarities between the killings of the babies and what happened next in history. No doubt our Messiah is coming back very soon.

Do not forget the evangelical revival in the sixties of the last century: they recognized that replacement theology was wrong. Many young Jews found their Messiah through the movement. Further, even during WWII there were messianic Jews (Ernest Cassuto’s book “the last Jew of Rotterdam”).

I feel something that is often overlooked is the fact that by including Gentiles, the church eventually became predominantly gentile, and therefore the Jews within it were eventually subsumed. The synagogue became the church. If not for rabbinic Judaism, there would be no distinctly Jewish people today. If the Jewish people en masse did not accept Jesus as their Messiah, perhaps it ensured their very survival.
