Percy Tau is a South African professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the South African national team.
He joined Brighton in 2018 but, due to work-permit complications, was loaned out to Belgian side Union SG with whom he won the Proximus League Player of the Season award. His form earned him a short-term move to Club Brugge, where he won a league winners' medal the following season, before being loaned out for a third consecutive season when he signed for rivals Anderlecht in 2020.

Tau is used to playing for top teams teams. The difference now is that he is playing in a top and competitive league and the team he is playing for is not low but average compared to the others. Everytime he gets the ball he passes it then quickly gets into space but because of the quality of his team at that level, he'll never get the ball back 90% of the time. Passing back and to the side won't work for him. Running down the flank won't work either unless he has people like Taariq Lamptey complementing him. He needs to hold on to the ball longer and wait for them. Or take the opposition defenders on. That won't be difficult with opposition defenders like Caglar Soyuncu and Aleks Sinchenko for example....
He just needs to adapt to playing in a weaker team than he's used to. The level of the league is not a problem to the player of his calibre.

TAU is a great player in making chances after chances with thrue balls just needs players that can put the ball into the net coz percy isn't a great goal scorer but can score great goals he's style is almost like an OZIL very luxury player lots of energy he can decide u the game but I think in a year or 2 in this league hell improve a lot especially he's finishing

I repeat the Quality that is around Percy at Brighton vs the Quality at Brugge and he's second club in Belgium is way Inferior at Brighton maybe it is the sizes of the club's or budget sizes or recruitment levels I don't know Percy set up 2 through balls and the front two players failed to connect with those balls,in Percy's debut at bright it was the samething but I made excuses like maybe it he's first game,he's second game game against City it was harder to tell because the team player as a unit and everybody did their job well and there where less mistakes.
