    Been inspired to try out gyro recently, i was never a great shooter to begin with. getting it set up on steam w PC looks like a hassle at first. hopefully this is the beginning of gyro growing in popularity so more game utilize it.
    thanks for leading the way keep up the good work

      If you have questions about setting up Gyro Aim on PC, theres a community of gyro aim users that could help you on that:

      But yes, hoping to see it more as a standard in the future :)

      @BJgobbleDix one of the big developers needs to have the balls to make it the default layout in a new AAA shooter, and no aim assist.

    Do you practice gyro somewhere else? Aimlabs or something?

    • @BJgobbleDix
      @BJgobbleDix  Před rokem +1

      No. Unfortunately, no Aim Labs on PS5 though the devs did confirm to me that they were working on a console version. Just no idea when it will release.
      Fortnite would be the best place for now. There are custom islands for aim training. I did use some of those awhile back to test out different settings. But never used them beyond that once I figured out what settings I liked.
      MW2's DMZ mode is an OK version to get a little practice in for that game if you want. But thats about the extent of it.

    How do those flicks not get jarring for you? I could probably play gyro with a high sensitivity stick to spin around but the sharp turns would break my neck irl lol.
    To each their own, gameplay is fire!

    How do you deal with lack of gyro controls on other ps5 console games? Does this make those games hard to jump back into using sticks? I’m really wanting to learn this type of aiming for the new MW3 release and want to start practicing!

    Do you make big movements when there are two targets near each other? I have tried your sensitivity settings, but it feels too slow for me like when there are two targets in front of me. I like how steady your aim is though. I play on horizontal 10.00 and when I review my gameplay the jitters are noticeable. I just posted some gameplay, take a look. I’m curious to know what you think of the high sensitivity.

      No I dont make big movements whatsoever. I usually cap at a 45 degree turn with my controller. Most of my rotations are within 30 degrees.
      I run with Acceleration. So if you set the Threshold Initial and Steadying at the numbers I have, it mimicks 3x Acceleration where my Sensitivity is about 2.0 on the low end and 5.5 when I crank fast. This is what helps me maintain a very steady aim for fine movements but still able to flick if needed to.
      A fast, 30 degree turn of my controller becomes the equivalent of about 165 degrees rotation with my character which is a near 180 turn. But in most cases, if I need to react to someone behind me, Im using Flick Stick first.
      For you, if youre running with 10.0 Horizontal as your high end Sens, you could try .3 Initial. Would take some getting use to but would help get a lot of those jitters out for your micro movements yet still maintaining the large range of motion.
      You could also adjust the Zoom multiplier a bit so that your CQB weapons have that high Sens but lower it for Snipers a little bit to maintain steadier aim.

      @@BJgobbleDix thanks for the reply. I tried the zoom multipliers and it made a big improvement!

    Do you find yourself fighting the recentering calibration of the ps5 when trying to make fine adjustments?

    • @BJgobbleDix
      @BJgobbleDix  Před 11 měsíci

      With my settings on MW2, very rarely. But in games like No Mans Sky, its a lot more prevalent.
      God of War Ragnarok, I had very little recentering issues. The Gyro Aim controls in that game were very tight for me.

    Is it better with fov scaling on or off?

    • @BJgobbleDix
      @BJgobbleDix  Před 6 měsíci

      Always ON.
      If you have it off, then you will have to dramatically alter Zoom sensitivity multipliers yourself. Pretty much, if you have your hipfire sensitivity set so that it feels comfortable, then sniping will feel insanely loose and impossible with FoV turned off.
      Actually, the devs forgot to have this implemented when they first added Gyro Aim in MW2 and for about 1 or 2 weeks, I straight up could not use any scopes. Just iron sights and red dots lol.
