Like your choke choice. I shoot dense loads (Hevishot) through improved most of the time as well. I find it saves the “eatability” of close birds and kills most at reasoned distances. Great shoot, love the you and Rocky vids. 👍

Nice hunt Titus, I know how happy you were to get your limit with your new gun, I recently bought a 20 gauge and shot my first limit with it on New Year’s Day felt so weird after shooting a 12 gauge for the last 22 years lol! I bet that 28 feels like a cap gun 😂😂

Hi Luiz, I was using Hevi-12 which is a tungsten blend. I’d be good with Bismuth as well. I was using a factory improved modified choke
Whack those birds in the air as they light… not after they pitch in. In most states I believe that’s shooting waterfowl at rest …and that can get u a coupon $$$

On this hunt I was using Hevi 12 with and improved cylinder choke

I've no idea why use Americans think its sporting to shoot a bird sitting on the water. Any dosh could shoot something sitting at 10yards. If use guys come to Ireland you wouldn't hit a thing.

I finally bit the bullet and starting shooting bismuth this season because of Titus. When it takes 2-3 shots of steel to finish a bird instead of 1 shot of bismuth, you're actually spending less money overall. I keep steel in my waders in case I need to make a followup shot on the water but otherwise, I'm sold on the heavier metals (I'm still not paying almost $80 for a box of Hevi 12 though lol)
@@alfaq654 it's funny cause he posted the box and still took him 2 shots to finish off that mallard lol but I definitely think it's worth it for the sub gauges. Tss is the real deal. Steel gets the job done just fine out of my 12
I definitely shoot way less shells shooting the heavier metals. I’ve hit many birds with steel and watched them fly away. That never happens with bismuth or Hevi 12. If I shoot extra it’s obviously because I missed
