Good to see ducks were moving for you guys. We hunted there a few weeks back and only had a handful of ducks actually flew over the open area. The closed zone was littered with thousands though. Good hunting guys.

Howard slough is such an underrated refuge, always a ton of mallards especially in that hole!

Man that awareness to take his shotgun when he was that pumped was really a smart move.
For filming my hunts I got a waterproof portable cell phone charger. Then I put it in my pocket and route a charging cable to my GoPro so it charges while I hunt. I also got an aftermarket battery door with a flip up that allows charger to be plugged in while the main door is shut. Haven't ran my GoPro dead yet.

It was banded which is not too common
There seems to be a shortage of drake pintails lol, had 2 groups of 10+ yesterday but they were all hens and yea, i shot my 1 lol. And to all the "drakes only" hunters, they do band hens 😂😂. Great hunt guys!
