Nothing is quite as fun as singing along this as loud as you can when no one's home. It kind of reminds me of Bohemian Rhapsody in that "do as many voices as possible and go nuts when it comes on" way.

+Finn Underwood Oh man! That would be an amazing street performance! Just imagine you come across these "robots" while you're walking down the street and they're all shutdown and lifeless but you see a jukebox or something beside them. You put money in, select a song, then they come alive and play the song before shutting down again until the next person comes by and turns it on again. Would take a lot of hard work to stay in one pose for indefinite periods of time though and they would need a "caretaker" to make sure people didn't mess with the robots while they were inactive.

For performers who are phenomenal at looking emotionless, and a song so dedicated to not being to feel and understand your own emotions, there is SO much emotion conveyed in this song, I love it so much.
When I was young my father used to love this band. He still does but he's found others. This is one of the only songs I remember, and I remember asking him to play this song all the time, I loved it so much. But I always asked him what it was called because I could never remember, it's amazing hearing it again.

Yeah, Rabbit seemed to slur that line every time in this song for some reason. All I hear is "steam mao gee rabbit smokes".

I've heard it that way at times myself. Sometimes I've also heard it as "A very big Steam Powered Giraffe who smokes". I've also noticed sometimes they don't enunciate and I have to look up the lyrics at times. I'm not complaining though, it makes it more fun to listen to if anything he he he.
I loooooove the "cacophony" at the end, with Spine getting stuck saying googles and it somehow solves itself into a beautiful harmony.

It's been a couple of years since I discovered SPG, but the trio blending break still blows my mind. It's so good. Their voices complement each other and the chemistry between them is just amazing. I'm a metalhead (no pun intended) but I know good music when I hear it no matter the genre, and this is great. This and Honeybee are my favorites.
A place a Metalhead like me can relax and take a break from the headbanging I do everyday.

I once recreated Rabbit's design in this video just from the neck up and it took well over an hour to apply. The robotic makeup is hard to get right to begin with, but Rabbit likes to make hers super complex. They're beautiful.

zeebo30 Still in 'Steampunk' is a Science Fiction based on Steam powered machines in the Victorian Era and they really never got that advanced and made those types of movement. However, I don't mind the current dancing and movements but I prefer the older movements......more robotic looking the better in my opinion.
I think she needs to re-learn all of her movements since now she has a female figure. You'd think it's not that much of a difference, but you'd be surprised.
