It's about time to do a real time trial on the firewood process to see just how fast it really is. Will a 1/3 cord take 30 minutes? 10 minutes? Watch and find out.
Tim, I like how you make mostly squares with your splits. Most everyone else ends up with triangular shaped splits. It’s because they always keep splitting each split in half with the barkside down.
Yup, way faster than my big box store splitter. I've never really timed myself but I want to say it takes me about an hour per face cord with my splitter. So that makes the kinetic splitter right at three times as fast as a conventional box store splitter. Good video Tim!
If you felt the material that they are made from, it seems more realistic. When loaded, you can lift from the top loops (2500 # limit) but I prefer to move on pallets for better stability.
Your system is coming together. Nice work.
Thank you sir!

Thanks, they work best in the bundles.

It's speedy!
That's about the same time I'm getting to split a face cord with the SuperSplit. It looks like the conveyor is working out for you.
It's a time saver AND shoulder saver. Thanks for stopping in!
Seems crazy those bags can handle that much weight.
