Gesture mode is very handy, for one you can take a photo of yourself without the controller in your hand... seasoned drone flyers know why these great features are helpful.

Hi Marcus, I really appreciate your reviews of the budget drones. Very few newbies will buy a Mavic 3 for their first drone. Most new drone users will buy a budget drone to let them wet their appetite for the drone hobby. They can then learn enough to have them make a more informed decision about buying the more expensive drones. You're the man!

Hi Marcus, another great video, I've flown the 4k 11 pro for over 2 years, I've never had any issues with it and got some great videos and pictures, for me it has to be the best budget drone on the market

Superb review/tutorial. Thank you - very helpful. I have an f11s or order to replace my f11 pro that flew away 1.5.22 Kettering, UK - entirely my own fault, long story). I always found taking still photos with it both time consuming and distracting. Instead I now just take a screen grab from the SD card video footage - the quality is no different and the best frame can of course be selected. Thanks again, Marcus. Best wishes from over the pond.

I just received the f11s it cost 249 for drone nice case and three battery's. I've flown it twice and its very solid. Actually better than expected. My first drone but I also ordered a DJI mini2 referb with three batteries but no case for 389. Having a good time flying them both. thanks.

It’s good to see different style drones …lots of guys like to add budget drones to there fleets ..I might look into one to fly in places I don’t want to risk my dji at but still know it can get the job done thanks for sharing

Hi Marcus. The F11s is one of my all time favourites, it's been out a long time. They are not happy low to the ground, and for the price its not a Mavic but it is a strong flyer. Any way Thanks a lot for the reincarnation. I have it in white too.

This one does looks it has decent video, and stable also. Seems have a few issues, but at this price point that's to be expected I guess. I'd still get the DJI Mini SE instead, just a little more money for a lot more drone. Great review Marcus, and thanks for sharing.
I think you are spot on Ron! For $70 more someone get into the DJI Mini SE. This one performs okay in the bargain category though.

Evening Marcus :) Thanks for the video, I always enjoy your content. But, I have to say that I've no idea why anyone would buy one of these drones when you can get a Mini se for $70 more. I think they are a false economy as you are either going to get fed up with it due to its flight control issues and give up flying or you are going to give up with it and go and buy a decent drone and kick yourself because you should have done that in the first place. Believe it or not but drones are sold outside of the USA so if you live in, say, South East Asia or Africa, then $70 USD is a lot of money

Hi Mark Justin The F11 was one of the first drones and mine too, said to be the best on the market. Before dji. And then F11s Pro wow the gimbal, but then Fimi X8 and Eachine's X4 and a Mavic Air 2, stop.You can't fly these drones any more unless you have a CofC your grounded. I had to get a Mini 2. I now have all of the above and still fly then too, great. All the best.
Mark, I think the economics of choosing this option rather than the Mini SE is the fact that for the price of an SE, you get 3 batteries and an SJRC drone with reasonable video and camera footage.
I bet that you can't get a mini SE drone with batteries all for $70 more.

Hello. Great video(I am still at 23th minute. Greetings from Romania! I have a question please if yuu can because I didn t noticed in many reviews... The "Helypad" or the hely cartoon port that is on the ground, the plastic one or whatever material is, it comes with the drone/s or you must buy it separate? Because I seen it in many videos but I never seen it in unfolding/unpacking drones... So for me is still a mistery.

I will probably buy this drone, I seen some reviews of it, and I will still watch and study it untill October... I think there is a way to calibrate the joystick from the app but I am not sure, I think I seen it on another review that worked smoothely. You flew 850 meters that is a great distance with great signal. A Canadian guy pushed a little more boundries and reached 1200 m(I think is the limit in Canada). So yeah, maybe it can reach at least 1500m.. As most of them advertise double de reality max range. Again, thank you and I will be watching your videos with pleasure.
@@IonComan9019 they never include a landing pad with the drones. sometimes on Amazon if you find a bundle package then you can get sometimes a landing pad and an SD card and extra batteries and things like that. but just find the items straight out, it will not come with a landing pad you have to buy that separately. I wish these companies would just included automatically, it just makes sense to do that. but greed never takes a vacation.I hope this helps you.

great job. Not a bad Drone. Video wasn't too bad either. How Much is it. I has a HS 720 drone before, that drone reminds me of it. wouldn't bother purchasing one tho. Once you have flown a DJI drone you kinda lean toward one of those for an extra $100 or whatever.👍

Hey Marcus! Was the little clear-sticker still stuck to the front of the lens? The footage to me looked like it was filmed through a window screen... am I crazy? The rest of your camera footage (where you talk into the camera) was ultra crisp but the footage looked almost unwatchable from the drone - worse than just noise, literally like looking through a dusty window screen. I played it on my Macbook Pro and my PC w/ 4K monitor and it looked the same. Scratching my head a bit is all.... Lol! As always, love your content!

I just bought this drone and weather has been too bad to fly it yet. Sadly this review is pretty discouraging at this point. Bought mine from Bang Good n hope I don't have to git into the endless gambit of returns or replacement. Dandahermit

Hello, I have this drone. The gimbal does not work. Power comes to the board, and the motors work (I have tested them with 3.5 volt battery power). Which device gives commands to the gimbal so I can check it or replace it?

Hmm... at that price point... Amazing camera... Amazing video feed. Does the phone connect to the drone WiFi or does the Controller have a WiFi signal to connect to? Either way... to get 800m solid connection by just using your phone is really good. Can you fly with just the phone? As you said, video quality is #1. This bird delivers that. If I were Hubsan or Fimi... I would be taking notes. *** SJRC... where's the Mini version? 😊👍
Here is how I think it works GM. The phone connects to the controller via WiFi, kind of like the DJI Spark. It's not bad for the $$.

Excellent review, however, Marcus, you need not have to be so condescending of Quadcopter that are not made by DJI. In fact, some of these "Bargain Drones" have outperformed some DJI Drones

2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi don’t know why they use the word bridge
I'm a beginner and bought the ruko f11 gim2. It looks identical to this sjrc, I'm sure they are produced in the same place. The flight apps are identical too. With my limited experience I'm satisfied with the ruko but could have gotten a dji mini 2 for not a lot more money. I decided on the ruko because I live on the edge of controlled airspace of a nearby class c airport. With the dji I would need to get geo fence authorization in addition to laance approval every flight. Seemed like too much trouble. Anyway I want to thank you for your videos, Ive learned a tremendous amount from them. My question is do you have any videos explaining and demonstrating the process for geo fence authorization? And do you think flying in and out of the geo fence boundary I live near would cause the dji software to stall and request another geo fence authorization? I have no problems or delays with the laance approvals. Thanks again.
I typically fly in class G airspace, so do not have much experience with the DJI approval process. I'm sorry that I'm not more help.
I'm glad you mentioned this, because that's also one of the reasons why I did not get the DJI mini SE, because my understanding is that DJI drones will not take off if you're in a restricted area, and that sucks. they're doing too much
Hi Marcus, please state which is the oldest version of Android, these drones use. ie Android 6 and above. (applies to all your reviews) Also i'd like to see a larger image of the FPV live feed, from just 30ft from the ground, so i can judge the fpv image sharpness. (applies to all your reviews). Thanks.
@Simon Honeysett I totally agree. that's my issue with most drone reviews on CZcams. everybody wants to show the SD card recording. we already know that's going to be perfect. we need to see the fpv experience so that we know how much break up or lag that's happening during the flight. so I agree that should be the larger image and then just put the SD recording in the little box on the right. but another great review Mark is, you're one of my favorite reviewers. I appreciate your work.

This F11S performs well. The DJI Mini SE is not much more expensive.
I just got my F11S. I powered up the drone and connected to the controller a couple of times. Now the ESCs process will not complete. I get the three beeps followed by one long beep but the second long beep will not play, so the drone will not power on. Ever had that happen to a drone?
I have not seen that issue. Hopefully you can return it.
i gave up on these f11's after the 4k pro i had,it had no power for any type of wind and couldn't fight 8mph,after atempting to mod the antennas it never worked the same again and is now in pieces in a box for parts...lol

Debating this or sg908 max. This has a better camera, no jello, and 3s. Where's sg908 max has the optical flow sensor camera and bigger battery plus transmitter battery and the obstacle avoider. @@driewiel thanks for that. I think this will be ideal, big enough and dark I'll see it easily. I've looked at the Se but abit costly. Even more with the extra fly more. This has plenty features for around £190 with 2 batteries and an sd card free. Just to clarify this definitely can follow the controller, so if I was on my boat it would follow me. I can add a stick wrapped under the drone for a easy grab landing
@@driewiel perfect reply, really appreciate it. I've flew a drone before but I'm mostly into rc planes but keen on this GPS drone and the decent features. If I got more into it I'd look at a mini 2. But that idea with the foam is good, maybe zip tie swimming noodle foams onto each arm, if it did land in water it wouldn't submerge on a calm sea.... Hopefully lol. When using follow me etc, soon as I exit then it should simply hold level and hovver awaiting control input? And if I do return to home, I can cancel it by clicking it again and still the drone hovvers level at the specific height it was left at... Correct?
@@driewiel brilliant, does the f11 fly level when in non GPS mode, and does it still hovver at current altitude? Also is it possible to do any stunts or motors simply not powerful enough or the axis and controller not quick enough to react
@@driewiel excellent, the fact it will auto level in either non or GPS mode is the main thing. But yeah it's alot of drone for the price. Just a shame as you said rushing everything out the warehouses. I will most likely buy the f11s, I understand parts are a problem if it ends up with issues then its a pile of expensive plastic haha

While I would much rather see a new drone flier looking at low priced drones in a DJI Mini SE, this one has it's place.
It's not the drone it's you . Ya should callabrate your tx and Rx befor flying in any location. Never seen anyone with problems with them drones. Had to turn off couldn't watch any longer ...
