I just wanna say thanks Raphael for inspiring young guys like me to dress well! I bought my first sport coat today: a Ralph Lauren sport coat in what looks to be a houndstooth-esque pattern. I think it will look good with a dark royal blue dress shirt and maybe some dark brown slacks

Reminds me of my pop's wardrobe with the Harris Tweed the herringbone stuff from scarves to ties to Blazers. Houndstooth can't, count everything. I just regret that I waited until I was 50 when I decided to dress 👗 like him/this. He passed a couple 💏 months later at 80 I remember years ago he had me taking him to little shops and small boutiques consignment shops and thrift stories hidden way out there to get items like you have. Been following your channel for about 4 years and Im still impressed…
I recently ordered a "warm grey" checked sports jacket. When approaching the fabric it looked to me like a brown "ish" jacket. I had to learn about this color along with Taupe as variations on brown/grey.
For Christmas, which is not a too formal event in my family, I want to wear a brown v neck sweater with a white button down underneath and some dark jeans. Mixing different shades of something like navy is hard because they won’t be exact and it might look off. Picking a tie to wear with dark colored shirts is even harder. But you might be able to pull that off

@@qarhsi Right. They are the most dressy shoe when in it's normal/plain state. Though I wouldn't mind a pair of full brogue wholecuts, I'm not getting any either.
@@eyeheartsushi2212 No doubt! I think you should try a light tan leather shoe, such as the Rockport Style Purpose. I have them and they go with a majority of outfit combinations. Blue shoes of darker shades will also work with your outfit; This is where suede comes if you don't just want oxblood/burgundy shoes because light tan and blue shoes (at least in suede) are a little more common than red/magenta/purple toned shoes. Experiment! Hope you come up with an effortless look.
