I have a historical document, a family heirloom, from 1740 to 1788. From my four times great granduncle, a fruit farmer, who journaled his crop quality in his own words. Describing his peach crop of 1786. "Aroma is intoxicating, of roses and honey with [honey] suckle, and melon. Upon tasting, the tender fruit yielded a MOST sweet, cloying, nectar-like flavor. Mrs Talbot make pies from the crop and no additional sugar was required to make a most superior after-dinner amusement. I later made a quite wonderful wine, using only the smallest amount of sugar, perhaps half the usual quantity, owing to the overwhelming sweetness of the natural fruits."
Fruit was sugary sweet before modern times.

How much weight have you lost on your rice diet thus far? I did about 6 months and I lost NO weight. at all. And I found the rice to be like rocks in my stomach. Bad digestion and high glycemic loads to my body, which I always felt negatively from. When i switched to fruit based, I was able to lose 45 pounds. I was focusing on 10 banana smoothies and lots of mangoes, persimmons, jackfruit, I was finally able to start losing weight. Now I added starches back in and I don't gain weight when I eat starches, but I no longer lose with starches, either.

Hey Ryan! I'm diggin your channel. Outside of yourself and Durianrider, not sure anyone has similar content. When I search HiCarb-LoFat, hardly anyone comes up as it's all carnivore aka Cultivorre. Anyhow, I'm recently switching to HCLF from Cultivore. I just couldn't lose weight on that way of eating. I'm a truck driver too so, somewhat sedentary. Oh yeah, I'm a native of East and SouthEast Cleveland suburbs. I moved out to Phoenix in 2011. I miss Cleveland. Yes, I said it. I miss Cleveland. Almost all store bought mangoes are good if you give them time to ripen. But never as good as straight from the tree as for quality of bananas it seems like they were sweeter years ago compared to now but like you said best to buy at Asian markets Nam wa also take time to ripen but are very good most of the ones in the states are coming from Homestead.

As I understand as long as we eat sugar, our bodies refuse to burn fat for fuel.
I tried it, but I noticed how low energy I am without sugar.
Maybe I should add sugar once a day to my high protein meal...
I eat high protein diet now, it's quite satiating, but one problem: I'm super low on energy without sugar... I'm satiated, my skin is clear as ever but no sugar and my energy is like 3-4/10...
