  • While no fish this time of year due to lack of oxygen, it’s always cool to see what lies beneath! Fishtrap Lake. Pike County, Kentucky.

Not just “a lake”. Lake Belton is rumored to be the after-effect of a huge flood years ago and there was a town in a valley where the waters rested and became Lake Belton, thus they say there are cars and buildings at the deepest part of the lake, and catfish that extend up to 15 ft long. Very interesting artifacts.

@@Jensley_Reportaaaaand thats why i dont swim in water over 20feet deep. I can walk through pitch black woods with very little light but that helpless feeling while you dangle over an abyss you cant see into gives me goosebumps thinking about it.

I’m sure some lakes have bodies that were never found. I know for a fact some
People have drowned in Donner lake Ca and never been recovered because it’s so
Deep and the water is so cold

Last summer me and my friends were swimming with floaters to see who could swim across the lake first since we were scared of doing it without floaters, one of my friends thought it was a good idea to go to the bottom of the lake (about 20ft) and do deep checks, when i went down there and opened my eyes it was so quiet and eery all you could see was greeny sand and seaweed. In that moment I felt so empty I couldn’t stay down there for long or else yk i would kinda drown but jeez

@@SupremeMayo I hope u realise the only way for us to kill this fear(cause I got the same one) is diving. Not that deep but at least 25-30feet.I’m scared when I can’t see the bottom and especially when I know it’s very deep. But I want to fight with this fear I will do scuba dive lessons next summer
