    Kru Rob Rogan is the man! He was always kind and informative to me and was always companionate with his approach to training! Square Circle is a very safe space to train, and boy do you train!

    20 years ago in NYC, all of the school's were teaching without elbows. So that is the only difference today. School's today in NYC have more focus on traditional muay thai, elbows, foot sweeps, push kicks and clinch work. Back then it was more about low kicks, punching, and combinations.
    Aziz is the best example, he was teaching straight up Dutch muay thai and Tae kwon do. Now he is teaching mainly traditional muay thai.

      nope master's school was teaching with elbows back then in new york city

    Muay Thai was indeed more developed 20 years ago in Canada than the US. Ajahn Suchart brought it to Ontario all the way back in the 80s.

    I'm very grateful to live in NYC. I'm minutes away from Sitan in Astoria, best gyms in the USA to train Muay Thai.
