What a great way to see the Vietnamese way of life by traveling the coastline from Ho Chi Minh to Nha Trang. Pretty ocean views and very green rice patties were abundant.

This is helpful! Are tickets only available at train stations or can you buy them online?
The easiest way is to go to Ga Sài Gòn station to purchase the ticket from the counter. Alternatively you can book tickets online vietnam-railway.com/
Either way the process is super easy and friendly. I hope this helps you my friend.

I used to work for 88.6 Plenty Valley FM. Its a local community radio station. They have amazing shows and some great talk back shows aswell.

The red thing "nem chua" you held up and said "really tasty" that is raw fermented pork ....They use excessive chilies, peppers, garlics and ground fried rice powder to "cook" the raw pork for 3-4 days .... I ate it all the time until I learned it was raw, then I was put off for sometimes, eventually I eat it again because it's too good .
meh it's not so much "fermented" but rather "cured". Westerners eat cured meat all the time especially europeans
Nem Chua was at the time new and exotic. I had no idea what I was eating at the time of filming. There is no doubt I enjoyed each and every bite of this unique Vietnamese food. As you said, ''when you found out it was raw you were then put off by it''. Eventually it was too good so you returned to eating it.
I'll be returning to Vietnam in November, 2023.

It feels that you do not comprehend that the Vietnamese do not speak English, because you speak to them so fast like you expect them to be able to process what you are saying if you speak to them rapidly repeating two or three times in an Australian accent. If I may offer advise then it would be to slow your speech and make your words clear when communicating. Enjoy your trip! Vietnam is an amazing country.
Hi Jordan, Not at all my friend. This is my personality and I'm putting it out there on the internet. I made this video to show people what catching a train in Vietnam is like. If you can't be yourself then who can you be? I'm returning to Vietnam in November with my family. I loved travelling to this amazing place.
