For Sinnoh though, it's more like 'You made it, congratulations. This is the end of your journey now, you have finally made it to the pokemon league with your team. You seem to have grown since the biggining, making it through hardshups with your beloved team through multiple hardships. Now, the goal is in sight. Sinnoh theme just comes out of nowhere. It’s like you are playing through the game for so long and then you get through victory road just wanting it to be over but then you hear that song and it makes you all of a sudden realize that you don’t want it to be over.
gen 1 you have to get your pokemon ready for battle gen 2 a place where the best trainers go gen 3 gets you into a battle mood gen 4 a place to relax before battle gen 5 you know that you might have to train gen 6 a place known all around and is your final stop gen 7 a beautiful place but a long road to victory
As much as I love Alola, I have to admit that gen 4 nighttime pokemon league is perfect. Your long journeys almost over, now rest and reminisce about your journey while preparing for the hardest battles your journey will bring. It’s perfect I think
gen 5 was great, I liked its music very much and it had a great story also, whether others liked heart gold but I liked black and white and black 2 and white 2 due to its story but now sun and moon is great
not really, the majority of the Gen5 dex was a callback to Generation 1 pokemon (and some other generations as well), but personally I find the Gen5 designs made to those ideas MUCH better than their Gen1 counterparts (especially pokemon like Gigalith, Leavanny, Scolipede, Haxorus, Hydreigon etc)
I completely agree with you. Gen 6 for me has a panel of good music, including this one, but I also like the game as a whole (the graphics that have something that I can't describe, the general atmosphere) and I I'll even add ORAS to what I just said, which are just as incredible (is that because it's among the games I played the most and have the most fond memories? I think mdrr)
Hilbert's dialogue I imagined when he first gets into the entrace of Unova Pokémon League (Black 1): Hilbert: Ok, that's it. Hilbert: Victory Road is finished. Now lies ahead the building that will end this division between Black and White. Hilbert: I'm entrusted with this Light Stone, the mighty powerful object that contains Reshiram, the fearful fire dragon of Unova, lying in deep slumber. Hilbert: Am I really entwined with such power? Am I the hero that will stop this crisis once and for all? Hilbert: N said that we should encounter at the Champion's Room, the room I was dreaming to get at since the beginning of my journey. Hilbert: Striaton, Nacrene, Castelia, Nimbasa, Driftveil, Mistralton, Iccirus and Opelucid... Hilbert: Cress, Chilli, Cilan, Lenora, Burgh, Elesa... Hilbert: Clay, Skyla, Brycen, Drayden... Hilbert: All of them entrusted me with glares of approval and trust. Hilbert: But, above all, Iris is the one that accompanied my best friend, Bianca, for the most time. Hilbert: She is a very energic one... I hope she manages to escalate herself to the title of one of the Elite Four members. Hilbert: But, well... Since I'm here, it's time to end this once and for all... Hilbert: Alder and N, I shall go to you.
They're all motivating, dynamic themes, except Sinnoh, which is soft, mellow and reassuring. I think this might have been what made Diamond, Pearl, Platinum so unforgetable: their uniqueness.
the Sinnoh League sounds nice and peaceful and it has beautiful scenery, a hilltop overlooking a waterfall surrounded by the ocean, but inside is hell, toughest league in the pokemon world
Gen 1:gives you a feel of facing the greatest challenge of your journey Gen 2:the music tries to make your nervous Gen 3:calm music, relaxes you before facing each elite four member Gen 4:relaxing, this music tries to relax you for getting through that victory road. only to get dunked by a garchomp Gen 5:same as Gen 2 Gen 6:more like a battle theme. gives you a quaint feel on how easy the champion is Gen 7:same as Gen 4, but remove the garchomp part,
What I think the Gen 6 league theme symbolizes: "....so you finally made it, you encountered many trials, never gave up, you never doubted nor gave up hope, you stayed strong to your will, no matter who you are....now...here you are, a formidable, and powerful warrior, but now there is one more trial/obstacle for you to overcome....step forward, and prove to the world that you are ready to be a champion!"
I remember entering to Pokemon League in Pokemon White and that theme began... and I knew that N was waiting for me... that was just scary and epic at the same time
My favorites are Gen 1, Gen 6 and Gen 2 (in that order). Even though X was easy as hell, the League's theme is amazing because it has that 'noble, yet intimidating' feeling.
Things just haven't been the same since Gen 4, though I can't speak from experience with Gen 5 at the moment. They just haven't really pulled another Cynthia. I guarantee that would pull the franchise out of this difficulty nosedive.
🔥Top🎵 (Missed the inside of the sinnoh league, but, I'll put it the same on this top): 1°Hoenn 2°Kalos 3°Sinnoh (Inside) 4°Unova 5°Kanto 6°Alola 7°Johto 8°Sinnoh (Outside) 👌
I personally really liked the Sinnoh outside theme. It has a calm theme that reminds you of what you went through. A real trip down memory lane. Oh well, if that is your choice I appriciate that.
I gotta say, Kalos' really surprised me with how good it was. I forgot how a few of these sounded, but my faves def are: Kanto (Gen 3) Johto (Gen 4) Hoenn (Gen 3) Unova Kalos No particular order.
You have all this mixed up, dude. - Since you chose the relaxed Sinnoh theme, it means you opted for the outside-of-the-league theme. - Which means... on Hoenn, you should've chosen Ever Grande City's theme, since it's the theme from outside the league but right before the league. - If you meant to chose the themes you hear inside the building right before any E4 battle, you should've chosen the intense Sinnoh League theme, the onethat sounds like Hoenn's VRoad. Anyway, just useless information, i guess.
Favourites 5.Diamond/Pearl/Platinum - An oddly calming approach, unique and interesting. 4. Alola - Big imposing drums also some intstruments that compliment it's more icy look 3. HG/SS - Goes for a more imposing/majestic vibe - Very nice remix of Kanto's league theme 2. X/Y - similar vibe, equal parts beautiful and intimidating 1. R/S/E or OrAs - cheating a bit cus it's also victory road but it's really fitting for a grandiose final challenge (Those trumpets really do it for me) But real talk the real winner is SwSh's league theme! It's an absolute bop, it hypes you up and really sells the professional sport vibe this league has going for it
I dislike most of gen 6 themes, specially the gym leaders' one, but on the League department, it's the gen with best themes out there. From Victory Road up to Pokémon League.
Gen 2 will always be my favorite. My parents were very religious and I never got to play a Pokémon game until crystal version. I couldn’t believe what I was playing. How immersive and how amazing the gameplay was. From the worlld, to being able to raise and train the Pokémon you wanted. Through the ups and downs with team rocket and all the gym leaders. I had never experienced anything quite like. Getting passed the eerie champions path with strong trainers just to end up at the Indigo Plateau. The music, the vibe was so unreal. It really got my heart pumping and made me realize that what was coming next wasn’t a joke. I was going to find myself in the fight of my journeys end. As a 6 year old kid that shit just hit so different to experience it for the first time. But every Pokémon game is amazing ❤️
Ikr, my first game was Emerald and when i got to Elite 4 i actually got proud to myself and with that theme it feels just so epic. I dont renember a lot cuz that was that time when u play Pokemon but dont enjoy it like with other people, I renember being like in my 12 when i wanted to buy Pokemon D/P and some days later Platinum was released, me and my friends got absolutely crazy cuz at that time some people got D/P but Platinum felt like the Ultimate Edition. i Bought Platinum and when i reached Victory Road i was expecting like another epic theme but i never in my life expected that theme, Like i obviously wanted to finish the game but at the same time i didnt wanted to.
I like them all but my list would looks like this: 1: DPPlt/ORAS/RSE/BW and BW2/XY (they are all amazing) 2: HGSS/SM and USUM/GSC (very good themes) 3: FRLG/RBG (they're wonderful, but I like the others more)
The outside theme from Sinnoh actually sounds kinda relaxing and at the same time depressing, I mean, at least what I thought hearing that music is "Well, I've made it to the Pokémon League, after all this time, and it's time to end this adventure" (And yes, I knew the existence of the post-game)
My Top 3 just for how the whole Region is presented: 1. Sinnoh 2. Alola 3. Johto Nothing could ever get above Sinnoh in my rankings. Sinnoh is perfect. It was the first region where I felt challenged on my way. "How do I now get to the next town?" ~12 year old me who skips text
Gen 1: I really like the loop of the FRLG version. Gen 2: GSC's version feels bland, but HGSS' ver intro is sick. I can always hear Fearow's cry in the silence. Gen 3: Having the same track as the Victory Road is kinda cringe, but still, that really represents well this Pokémon League, especially the ORAS' version. The whistles at 6:33 are great too. But Evergrande should be in there too. Gen 4: I really prefer the Night version, and for one and only reason, that one scary note at 11:41. Also it's goddamn chill. I feel like Decisive Battle! should be in there too. Gen 5: One of the best imo. Really simple yet imposing. Gen 6: Feels kinda weird, I like it tho. That track really feels like: "You've already won, go ahead". A slight overview on how easy this League is. Gen 7: I really like this one. Feels like a mix between Gen 4 and 5's versions. Chill (those icy notes) yet imposing (with the drums). Really feels like you're on top of Mt.Lanakila, and you're ending your journey. BONUS ROUND! Gen 8: Cringe.
I think you get it wrong with gen4 because you put the "Pokémon League Area" music and no the "Pokémon League Inside Building" that has a very cool and alike theme to the others versions.
I was never nostalgic for the outside the Sinnoh League theme. I always thought it was boring. The inside theme though, the one that always gets forgotten, is kickass.
We can see the differences between each game and what they wanted to represent *Kanto:* Is ONLY imposing power, telling *you've seen nothing like us* with those thrombones. *Jotho:* Is a further elaboration of gen 1. Aside from telling you their power with thrombones, they also seem to *tell that you are not to their task; if you disagree, prove it.* *Hoenn:* Is mostly saying 3 things, you have to *show you're worth it, because you'll get destroyed if not,* so hope you're ready that you'll need it. *Remakes:* The same theme but with better instrumentation to reflect the theme better. I'll say this though, the *gen 3 theme has even less hope* inside the team due to the instrument change, while the *gen 2 added a segment to give the place more mysticism and doubt* to the player. Both I see as very positive additions. *Sinnoh:* It's divided in 2 segments, the outside who is a piano solo and *is a sigh of relief* after the very long Victory road, and the actual pokémon league theme called "Decisive battle!" which has roughly the same intentions as a hybrid of gen 3 and 2 league due to the heavier *emphasis in power but still giving glimpses of hope.* *Unova:* This theme is odd compared to other generations, something of a gen 5 trademark if you ask me. It feels more like *you reached a sacred place with very important people* inside. Is more about respect due to their charge and league rather than their power as trainers. *Kalos:* Basically mixing both themes of gen 4, with a bit of gen 5. It *starts with some relief* for surpassing the Alakazam and Gigalith, and then tries to say that you should respect the league and their power, BUT ALSO *feels like the game is congrating you a bit for reaching that far.* *Alola:* It sounded like... a new life? Ahh, because *you're seeing the league being born, inviting you to do what no one ever did.* It kinda falls flat if you ask me due to the overemphasis on the league being brand new, not putting enough emphasis on the "you should respect the elite 4" part. If i had to rank them it would be Kanto < Jotho = Alola
Sinnoh is hands down the best. Im Pokemon Fan since gen 1 and i agree that the quality of Games decreased over the generations but damn Gen 4 had those real good Soundtracks. Sinnohs Pokemon League was exceptional imo, it also had the most charming Champ of them all.
Most of the Pokemon League themes always manages to give me two vibes. Either " Ahhh yiih, imma bout to fuck things up " or " Oh shiet, imma bout to get fucked up..." And sometimes both, one after the other 😅
Can someone remind me why Sinnoh has two variations of the same theme? Was one from Diamond/Pearl and the other one from Platinum? It's been years since I've played those games, I can't remember!
My most fond and recent memory of elite 4s: Gen 4 got to the elite 4 with mostly ground type mons (i thought i was safe) get passed Aaron easily, proceeded to get swept by an ice beaming ultra bulky Whiscash of all things.
Sinnoh, the calm before the storm known as THAT MOTHERFUCKING GARCHOMP!
SagaFraga ye that hatching fucked up my garchomp
Stupid Garchomp. I had to keep switching into my Intimidate mons to be able to beat it.
And the motherfucking tons of heals Cynthia used
her Milotic was also annoying
EDIT: My underleveled Garchomp was faster than Cynthia's and was able to 2HKO with dragon claw, but her Garchomp had a sitrus berry that turned 2HKO into 3HKO... I had to use 3 max revives to beat Cynthia
It really screams "This is it trainer, your last trial to determine if your worthy... But for now, relax, and prepare yourself.."

Daez but sinnoh had a badass in-building theme why isn't it included its literally the pokemon league theme
I like how Sinnohs league music isn't like "look how far you've come" its kinda like "Your journey is almost over" and its relaxing
I have nothing to say, you said everything king
Until you get to the Cynthia and the kid gloves come off.

Agreed. The lack of love for Gen 1's theme when it is like the most iconic is crazy
How is the gen 3 theme "calm". It's probably one of the most tense ones.
@@sinkvapour6177 yeah, when he/she said it's calm I was expecting it to be like sinnoh league theme

For Sinnoh technically has two themes the sad one outside of the league and the badass one inside of it.

Sinnoh: Calming moment for us
That first theme did a bang on job at setting the tone
Bruh kalos theme is soo good
Hoenn's pokemon league is so powerful to hear in the remakes!
Kalos theme sounds so majestic
Why does every video put the wrong alola theme? This is NOT the league theme, this is the music that plays OUTSIDE of the league
Kingdom18Key Same for gen 4
I have to say Unova has the best Pokémon League theme by far, unless you include the inside theme of D/P Pokémon League
My Top 3 just for how the whole Region is presented:
1. Sinnoh
2. Alola
3. Johto
Nothing could ever get above Sinnoh in my rankings. Sinnoh is perfect. It was the first region where I felt challenged on my way. "How do I now get to the next town?" ~12 year old me who skips text
lmfao, I was always lost in those games.
SINNOH..PERFECT Stop the cap stop the cap lmao
in gen 3 you have done a mistake the league theme is ever grande city theme not the victory road !
next do credits music
The suspense of unova’s
How far we have come.
I think you get it wrong with gen4 because you put the "Pokémon League Area" music and no the "Pokémon League Inside Building" that has a very cool and alike theme to the others versions.
same in Alola, there is another theme in the building, the one with the bubbles.
sinnoh calms me
HG SS Johto theme has somehing so chilling I love it
The ringing at 11:41 reminds me of the old cheateu. The ringing creeps me out even though the rest of the theme is relaxing.
the only thing this is missing is the track for when you're inside the Sinnoh league
You have the theme for inside the league of hoenn but not sinnoh?
meagain or alola
There is
The theme for the outside of the hoenn league is the same as ever grande city’s so that’s probably why
Why didn't you put the Sinnoh League theme for when you're inside? That's THE theme for the Sinnoh League.
You've really messed it up.
Same for Alola. What the hell?!
I was never nostalgic for the outside the Sinnoh League theme. I always thought it was boring. The inside theme though, the one that always gets forgotten, is kickass.
It literally makes no sense, he showed the inside theme for Hoenn but not anything else? The hoenn theme is cheerfull and relaxing too.
I like the outside music too, should do both outside and inside
Hoenn is inside cuz the outside......IS FREAKING EVER GRANDÉ CITY!!!!!!!!
We can see the differences between each game and what they wanted to represent
*Kanto:* Is ONLY imposing power, telling *you've seen nothing like us* with those thrombones.
*Jotho:* Is a further elaboration of gen 1. Aside from telling you their power with thrombones, they also seem to *tell that you are not to their task; if you disagree, prove it.*
*Hoenn:* Is mostly saying 3 things, you have to *show you're worth it, because you'll get destroyed if not,* so hope you're ready that you'll need it.
*Sinnoh:* It's divided in 2 segments, the outside who is a piano solo and *is a sigh of relief* after the very long Victory road, and the actual pokémon league theme called "Decisive battle!" which has roughly the same intentions as a hybrid of gen 3 and 2 league due to the heavier *emphasis in power but still giving glimpses of hope.*
*Unova:* This theme is odd compared to other generations, something of a gen 5 trademark if you ask me. It feels more like *you reached a sacred place with very important people* inside. Is more about respect due to their charge and league rather than their power as trainers.
*Kalos:* Basically mixing both themes of gen 4, with a bit of gen 5. It *starts with some relief* for surpassing the Alakazam and Gigalith, and then tries to say that you should respect the league and their power, BUT ALSO *feels like the game is congrating you a bit for reaching that far.*
*Alola:* It sounded like...
While I got hit by the nostalgia rock too hard, Kalos theme dominates! The Kalos after 7th gym themes are just awesome!
Y'ALL STAN FOR HOENN , GOSH THE MUSIC IS SO FRUSTRATED AND CALM AT THE SAME TIME
I love these 8-bit songs
Kalos League looks like what Sinnoh league could look like in remakes.
Umm the building design
What about the outside theme of gen 3's? That's still hoenn's pokemon league music.
You didn't use the Pokemon League interior theme for Sinnoh, which is a bummer, as that's more in line with the other themes.
The victory road theme was the most absolute shit of all themes of gen 4
Honesty, they are all pretty good. But Sinnoh derserves a shoutotut for being so chill.
Would love a updated version of this video though!
Why Alola league theme sounds so epic...
Most of the Pokemon League themes always manages to give me two vibes. Either " Ahhh yiih, imma bout to fuck things up " or " Oh shiet, imma bout to get fucked up..."
And sometimes both, one after the other 😅
Fire red one is underrated, drums make it sound like you’re marching to war
Hoenn is like "if you don't do this now, the world is gonna end"
Also lacking the inside of the Alola league
And the inside of Sinnoh League, which sounds as intense as Hoenn's Victory Road/Pokémon League Building.
Sinnoh League's inside theme is by far my favorite theme in Sinnoh
Wish we had these with the battle sprites of each league champion.
Omg ,Hoenn song is so underrated.
I agree. I though Like Hoenn Music
Can someone remind me why Sinnoh has two variations of the same theme? Was one from Diamond/Pearl and the other one from Platinum? It's been years since I've played those games, I can't remember!
Rowan Quinain I'm wondering the same thing! Maybe the second one was a unreleased version?
Day and night time
Oh, duh! Haha makes sense, thanks! I don't know why I didn't think of that!
My most fond and recent memory of elite 4s: Gen 4 got to the elite 4 with mostly ground type mons (i thought i was safe) get passed Aaron easily, proceeded to get swept by an ice beaming ultra bulky Whiscash of all things.
gen 6 sounds like a news broadcast
sinnoh is like
damn, I made it here. I think I’m ready for he elite 4. after all this, all the battles all the training, it’s time
I love so much Jotho and Hoenn Theme
the gen1&2 make me feel likes warrior in the great war.
6:00 Wait, this isn't Ever Grande City (which plays at Pokémon League)! That's just Victory Road!
Who as link for song at 15:00, i don't found song ?
1. Unova
2. Alola
3. Hoenn
4. Kalos
5. Johto
6. Sinnoh
7. Kanto
What was your first Pokémon game!? Mine was Alola (Ultra moon) in 2018
Kanto (Firered) in 2004
Honestly if Kalos had a “challenge mode” like black and white 2 then the game would be so much better in my opinion
my fav one is 6st so many nostalgia
Gen 6 as a whole game is So underated it doesnt deserve half the hate it gets
