Galiweong then again there’s Iris and she’s a kid too (I think she is still in her 13-14s, yet her team is something that could pose a threat to a good most trainers.), but either way Diantha’s champion theme is really nice to hear, at best to make her Gardevoir pose a threat let it have something counter her wickness so goes her team heck she can have none Kalos pokemon (Heck if they went for a full Kalos team she could’ve had Malamar since she’s trainer that could be focused on fairies and psychics so I’m surprised why she doesn’t have Sylveon) , and Iris did that on hers with an Aggron with automize of all things which left unchecked its a literal threat, what made her easy is that a chunk of pokemon can solo her entire team without a problem at all.
Sorry for the unnecessary excess in this message. (I still feel bad how they massacred Diantha’s fight in the game)

I loved Gen 7. It was well done. There were no Gyms, the totem pokémon were actually a challenge if you went in underprepared and underleveled. Sometimes requiring you to focus the ally pokémon that showed up. A prime example being the water totem pokémon and it's ally Alolomola that would cast heal pulse on Totem WishiWashi to heal it. The one that gave me the most trouble was Lurantis. (This was my first ever playthrough mind you)
For those who are complaining why kukui isn't there. Technically you are the first champion. When the region's Pokemon league receives it's first champion, a professor of the region goes to the league to battle them as a final challenge. Blue was the first champion of Kanto, and Oak was going to battle him, but you got to him first. Thus explains why Oak has a battle in the game files but not in the game, and why he arrived when he heard blue had become champion, but you had already taken the title.
PLEASE PEOPLE!!!! KUKUI IS NOT THE CHAMPION!!!!

But I hate when people say 'it doesn't sound epic' or 'aggressive' or things like that, because for me a Champion theme should be sounding like you're reminiscing on your whole journey with your Pokémon and this is the climax of it all. Everything you've trained for and every trainer you beat is for this moment and it should reflect that. For me, Iris' theme sounds really climactic and epic.
Diantha's theme is straight up good. Really uses that soundscape. It sounds like it was made to be remixed into like 7 themes.
In the fire red and leaf green, I've always played with the volume down so I've never heard this theme. Until now and I love it😍😍

I can't help but notice the Champion remix from Black and White 1 is missing. Though you did use the updated remix of that song in the X and Y version. It's so cool how the Pokemon league was changed around in the new games.

So if I had to rank the Champions from best to worst I would have to go with (and I'm sort of ready to take on all this hate face-flat):
10) Wallace: Other than being exclusive to Emerald, it was thanks to ORAS that he just barely edged out Diantha thanks to his enjoyment of contests and involvement in the Delta episode.
9) Lance: If three Dragonites aren't your cup of tea, then Lance is already on a bad start and he won't really leave much of an impact.

7) You (in Sun and Moon): An amazing plot twist similar to Red being the former champion, though this concept sort of tampers with your expectations on what it takes to be a champion.
6) Red: Being a silent protagonist alone hampers the quality of his character, though the revelation of the protagonist being one of your opponents alone makes him awesome.
5) Alder: Though he may be a disappointing character within the context of the plot, he's an engaging character with a tragic backstory and a powerful grandson to uphold his legacy.
4) Steven: A champion who acts more of a mentor and ally to the player makes him an enduring, especially since he's the first character in Pokemon history to wage a multi-battle alongside the player.
3) Blue: The rival turned champion turned gym leader showcases a lot of development to this character.
2) Cynthia: A champion with a knack to perfect herself in multiple fields makes her just as intimidating as her overpowered Garchomp.
1) N: Your arch-nemesis/friend/rival who defeats the champion right in front of you, N represents a character who has to tackle multiple roles and ultimately nails it with a legendary dragon by his side.
11) Diantha: Devoided of any involvement in the story and offers little to the player save for a Ralts at the end of the game unless you accidently caught one early on in your adventure.
N's not really a champ. Yeah, he whooped Alder's ass (darn those legendaries) but you fight him for one time only as part of the main story. He's more of a rival than a champion, if something.

The progression of one Championship to another. I love this compilation. Gamefreak should do a game like that were the Trainer takes on the Elite 4 and Champions from all the regions just like we took on all the Villains in Gen 8! It should be one of those "Poke'mon World Championships" kind of Trials. They've amassed enough of a legacy to have this be a thing.
I really find it interesting how the B2W2 remix of Lance/Red's theme is so much more dissonant and clashy than the other remixes, it's very cool!

Well Cynthia may be the best champion but whenever I hear Blue/Green theme I get so excited. He was the best rival that even if you won him he still was a step ahead of you. He even became champion! So the in my heart the true best Champion is Blue/Green. Just for nostalgia reasons xD.

Just because he challenged you after E4 didn't mean he has to be a champion though... unless you lose against him like what Blue did in gen1 , also the title of Kukui is "Pokémon Professor" while the title of every single champion waiting you at champion chamber in main series game so far is "Champion" instead

I don't get pokemon fans sometimes firsts they complain why the player doesn't become champion after defeating the league in any pokemon game now that its actually a thing that our player character became champion they want a standby champion like the ones from the previous games before pokemon sun and moon WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
