    You should make a video of a walkthrough of what all you’ve done to your bike. I just bought an old virago and I’m going to start new mods to it. When I can afford it, got to get it running first. I am so inspired by yours.

      Thanks you so much, i'm going to look that so 😄 the exhaust sound of my bike is simple to made, remove silencer and let pipes free, use just stainless pipes for making your new exhaust, don't put quiet baffles or another shit of that. My website is on building but you'll show this project and mods, paint and other soon www.nickpinstripe.fr

    Hey what is the diameter of the pipes? I’m trying to figure out what size I should order for bends and all that between 1 1/2- 2 3/4. I love the deep rumble yours has. I recently got a single carb manifold from a buddy so mine will be single carb ( just got tired of hassling to get the two carbs out all the time lol plus it’s soooo much easier having the single carb off to the side to reach down and mess with it as needed). I like simplicity, even disconnected the pump and got a new simple petcock with a single output. Waiting on my editing software to download to start videoing the build again.

    Really nicely built. I'm about to purchase a 750 virago next week as my first bike and I'll turn it into a bobber. I have one question: the paint job on the engine. how did you leave the fins unpainted? Did you just wipe away the paint while it was wet?

    • @Spirit_Lanayru
      @Spirit_Lanayru Před rokem +1

      You may have already solved this, but a good way to get the desired effect is to get some painter's tape and a nylon/rubber mallet, stick the tape on the fins you want to paint and gently hammer the tape into the creases of the fins. Once you do that, cut out the inside parts with a razor, paint, let dry, unpeel tape, and you should have bare fin edges.

    How did you eliminate the side engine covers for the air filter and vacuum lines? I have a 95’. XV750 I’m doing now. I love this bike good job

    • @nickpinstripe1788
      @nickpinstripe1788  Před 5 lety

      Yes it's very base for customising, you do remove stock air box and the hubcap at the left of the bike, and remove all fixing lug of all that for better visual

  • @thedreadedwhitenoise8743

    The bottle opener is a nice touch! I have a 750 bobber as well with Harley risers/bars but no controls since I don't have signal lights. I like the paint job. Is that water sanded?

  • @beardedcatguitarplus9485

    So I got new bars, grips and all that. I got similar controls to yours but the wiring adapters dont seem to match up? It said universal. It’s soooo frustrating. Lol switched to 1” bars ( 84 XV700 ). Now need new risers too. Hate it when things don’t just line up

      Qu'est-ce que je dois faire avec les 2 grosses durite qui vont au dépollution.
      Cordialement, Luc

    • @nickpinstripe1788
      @nickpinstripe1788  Před 5 lety

      Rien du tout, tu peux les laisser à l'air libre vu qu'il y a des filtres entre la durite de maintient sur le carbu et la durite de sortie mais ça fait moche. J'ai seulement supprimer les durites de sortie et placé des reniflars juste après les filtres.
