    Done a great job, bit late to the party as this video is 7 years old but im glad i stumbled upon it. I have similar plans for my 1992 virago. . The stock seat and sissy bar had to go though no cutting frame as i wanted the passenger option , looks so much better slimming down the rear end and fitting new bars. I will do a few hundred miles first before commiting to more work,fingers crossed no problems. 👍

      @@marcelvlieger Thanks. Early days here. At this point in time, its just stripping down the basic bike and deciding how far to go. You've given me some great ideas though..

    I think the Virago xv750 is great as it was made, But if your going to make changes to it this is the way to do it.

    How is the rear fender connected? Just with the two bars off the rear wheel? Or is it attached under the seat/ to the frame--I have nearly the same bike and am looking to chop it up

    • @marcelvlieger
      @marcelvlieger  Před 7 lety

      I welded an bracket to te rear suspension frame, and conected the fender to it with an nut. So the fender could bee removed when changing tyre..
