My goodness this is amazing! I’m an extreme novice and got the Rubik’s connected for my dad for an upcoming Father’s Day gift but plan to get one for myself now. So exciting how it guides you and teaches you the basics. The completion part is just genius
I’ve had this cube for a few weeks now, it’s really nice. I have all 4 smart cubes, and they’re all really great, except fir the original giiker, which the cube always messed up, as in the cube not matching what’s on the phone. I thought the go cube was really cool, it was round, but once I got it, I didn’t like it that much because it was hard to turn, because of how round it was. I also don’t really like that both gocubes have separate apps. The only thing that I like better about the original gocube (the bubbly cloud one), is that when you do the tutorial, you can see the way the cube is oriented. It’s much better than not knowing which way the cube is oriented (obviously).
And I forgot to say, both apps are connected. I logged into my account that I use on the gocube app (cloudy bubbly one), into the gocube connected app (the new cube featured in this video). And I also hate how there’s no way to challenge a real life player, they’re all bots (unless your challenging a friend).
He has inspired me so much to start cubing and i did start and i am enjoying it so much. Thank you Z3

i think its a bot. The reason I'm saying this is cause I have the cube and there are way too many yellow cross solvers compared to reality. Also, they are all using beginners method which is very interesting as most beginner method cubers would not use yellow cross.

Hello Z3Cubing! I wanted to know if the Rubik's Connected 3x3 can sense the way you rotate the cube like the GoCube and the GanCube. Or do you have to swipe on the screen for different views of the cube like the GiikerCube. Thanks!

Well technically the centers do move in relation to the perpendicular centers, but yes for the most part it's the edge and corner pieces that move around those centers

Hey there Alex. Recently I have been having a spring/creaking noise on my gan 356 xs and I don't know how to resolve it because of the new spring system. Have you had this problem before? Should I use lubicle black on the core? I am getting super stressed about this because my cube is only around 1 month old
Occasional spring noise isn't really a big deal. By the time it might cause any actual problems, your cube would be years old and worn out beyond it mattering. But if you do want to get rid of it for the sake of the noise, you can try locating which springs are making it and putting in something like Lubicle Black, which should fix it.

For someone that is just starting, would you go with this one or the GoCube?
This one is cheaper, is more comfortable to turn, and has almost all the same functionality. I'd definitely recommend it over the GoCube.
