I actually met Frank back in 2016 when I was out in Vegas, for a one on one tour of the LV backstreets, just me & him in his car. We went to tons of different places over the course of about 3 hours that evening, including many spots used in the "Casino" movie, former hangouts of his, the spot where Lefty Rosenthal was blown up in his vehicle and Tony Spilotro's former Vegas home amongst many other places. What a cracking night that was, believe me, even if a bit surreal to say the least...
I can vividly remember when Frank picked me up @ the Royal Resort carpark, this car approached me slowly, the blacked out passenger window went down and I just heard this voice call out in a real sort of 'wiseguy' tone - "you waitin' for someone?" . I can see that moment right now as I type this.
A great time spent with Frank; was so interesting when chatting with him about the Vegas heyday, all his former friends including Spilotro, his time growing up in Chicago, certain things from the film that were fictional, meeting all the cast from the casino movie, and how everything has changed in LV beyond all recognition nowadays compared to years ago. I'm so glad I done the tour as it's an experience I'll never forget.

I went on one of those tours. There was an FBI agent with him, just keeping an eye on things. It turned out he was retired, but had been asked to come along, as he had worked a lot with Culotta during his informant period. He spoke of this a little, and said he had agreed to come if the tour made a donation to the FBI benevolent fund (widows and orphans).
I shook Culotta’s hand because the FBI agent did. However after the tour, several people posed for pictures with Culotta, mostly silly (I think) women. I passed, but went over and shook the agents hand, saying ‘I just wanted to thank you for all the work you did for us’. He gave me a strong grip, looked me in the eye and said ‘Thank you *very* much, sir.’
I think he was a little tired of people admiring Culotta.

Great interview. Great questions. Not the typical interview where the questions are the basic questions on high profile info. Also, Frank seems very matter of fact honest. Doesn't seem to have an agenda and doesn't seem to have any bad will or feelings towards any of his former associates more that this was just the way it was and that all involved shared the same experiences and that unfortunately didn't have much choice in the matter. If you were part of the life this is the way it was. Doesn't seem to take of any of it personally.

Such an easy man to like- very personable and seemed open and honest, as well as a really great story teller. Hard to look at him like this and realize how unbelievably dangerous he really was and what he was capable of either doing; or having done on his behalf. I think it would have been great to sit and listen to this guy tell stories from the old days over a weekend by a campfire and a few drinks. It would probably be fair to say that he did not reveal everything he's done or what he knows to the authorities or write in his book. One thing is for sure, the man definitely did not live a boring life.

The problem with Cullotta is that it is really is hard to tell if he is telling the truth or just making stuff up. He says in this interview, that he heard "bits and pieces" about the JFK assassination and that he believes the Outfit was involved. In other interviews, *he contradicts himself and goes against what he has previously said.* There is a fairly recent interview where Cullotta says the Chicago Outfit was not involved in the JFK assassination and that if they were, he would have heard something.

I liked Frank but one has to realize that when he earned this immunity he talks about, he was on the stand testifying against people he brought in on some of this stuff. He gave Ernie Davino 30 years when Davino was a very low level thief until he ran across Frank. That all doesnt seem fair or just to me.
