As a biased ‘13 535i owner. I agree 100% on your opinion on the looks. It is EXTREMELY Hard to tell what year an 11-16 5er is, the LCI was so minimal it’s so hard to tell. Most other cars you can more easily tell when it’s been facelifted vs not..it’s great as an owner bc it ages so gracefully, these will look good for a WHILE. Great review

I have a similar car, mine is a 2014, with X drive and the M Sports package. I called a dealer in 2016 and told him what I was looking for, and they found this great car for me on another dealer's lot. From a point of driving pleasure and very low maintenance costs, it's one of the best cars I've ever owned. It's going on 85,000 kilometers now (roughly 60,000 miles) and I'll soon be asking the same dealer to find me another newer one.

So…in the recent time, I decided to pull the lever on a brand new fully-loaded (G30) 540i xDrive M-Sport. Additionally, I upgraded the Remus aftermarket cat-back exhaust system and a set of 20” staggered wheels/tires just to personalized my new whip.

Worried about the maintenance and comparing to a toyota avalon in same price range.

Everything he said was 100% accurate I have the same exact car the same year it looks just as good but I don't know if you told you and if it's an option that you add but my stereo has a DVR built-in so I could put a CD in the CD changer cuz you have a six disc sea changer if you want you hold the button down and it will download it and then you can name it and take the CD out it also you could download songs from the radio and then you have options to name the songs it does just everything nicest car ever had considering it's just for me to have as a second driver and I love it I couldn't be more happy with it I bought it from a one owner car looks like no one ever drove it had high miles but it was serviced and you could tell it was used for commuting because even the driver's seat which tells me it was a light girl or woman who bought the car Plus like I said it had a DVR and she had her top favorite 50 songs already saved into the radio and the car does a lot of little things that you wouldn't think of for instance if you're listening to music from your phone Spotify downloaded music any kind of music you could connect in the center console USB drive every kind of drive you could imagine they got them in the center console and then in the backseat when you lift up the armrest you got another extra one there's like five different options to connect different music players and such and if you're listening to phone or something else in your curious what's on the radio all you have to do is instead of switching to the radio you just go to your preset buttons and you gently slide your finger across the top of it and on the screen up top it'll tell you to channel and what song is playing other than that you can control everything from the steering wheel just hit the button you could scroll through thousands of songs on your phone right on the odometer in front of you and you could go back and forth raise the volume answer the phone go to the navigation it's awesome I paid $12,000 but it did have 190k and it drives like a brand new car no lights on the dash no problems no nothing it did have a one of those plastic grills on the front for protection other than that if you're thinking about getting one there's nothing left to think about could sit here all day and tell you about he not only forgot to mention he might not even know about the seats are heated and air conditioned and they do have the 12 point adjustments with the lumbar they're incredible but anyone looking to get one you will enjoy it also you have an option you just drive the car normal it drives awesome it's fast you don't realize how fast you're going unless you look and if you put it in the sport mode it actually not only goes faster but your exhaust has a little growl to it which I thought was extremely impressive especially when you just I want to take off on somebody sounds like you actually did something faster plus you got crazy options with the giant screen backup camera and all the goodies and I don't know why but my back windows have like a mesh I could slide up and it looks like kind of tinted windows and there's a button that I didn't see on his under the windows that roll up that you hit and a big mesh item comes out and covers your whole back window but you could see through the mesh don't really know what it's there for I still would like to get my windows tinted delicious pretty cool I've only seen it in really expensive cars but this car is a lot of car for the money and if you lucky and you buy it from a one owner and you could tell and it has maintenance you can't go wrong the car will actually tell you if you need any oil and how much you need other than that just take care of your brakes when you need to and enjoy sorry I didn't use any good grammar but it is what it is just keeping it real or anyone who's thinking about it I wouldn't waste anyone inside and I have nothing to gain and I don't lie and in the car is extremely sexy with the leveling headlights and there's so many little things you could do and get to just make it your own hope this helped enjoy

When parts go out of production, I'm gonna buy enough parts for as long as I got to live, which at the moment hopefully is 50 more years. I hate silent electric cars, the 4 cyl turbo charged engines with 4 cyl sound and all other BMWs, newer and older, except the E39. Got one I'm gonna keep forever as well. But the E39 looks like a veteran car now. The F10 will look new the next 20 years at least and it'll look perfect forever.
