Wil :)=
He would never leaves us
"I don't wanna die an ordinary man" no danger of that Ozzy....
Many people thinks however
"I don't wanna die an poor,
hated and rejected".
I heard that s&_t
If there’s even the smallest chance that Ozzy ever sees these reviews, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You’ve been a part of my life literally for the majority of my life. Your music has given me pleasure and pain. Made sense of the odd and kept me going through the heartache and pleasure that life gives and takes away.
Words of truth
Yup!
Ozzy is truly immortal. There is no words to describe what he’s lived through, what he’s done. An icon, archetype, really.
Same thing with Elton John. Although Ozzy's drug abuse was most likely way worse than Eltons. They still went through a lot of similar scenarios. Both of them truly went through a lot and this song represents their long journeys to this point
He's so BEAUTIFUL ❤️
I'm going to overlook your grammatical and punctuation errors. Here's why: You said that "Ozzy is truly Immortal". I agree. Ozzy will not experience a physical death. NO! A chariot will come down from above; and He (Ozzy) shall ride that chariot into the cosmos and become a GOD!
@@user-hm4hz9yy8c It seems I misinterpreted your statement upon my first time glancing over your comment. I agree, he shall have the Enoch of deaths.
Hell on wheels
If this is really his goodbye song, then he’s definitely going out with a bang. Elton John sings and plays piano on this song, Slash is on guitar, Duff McKagan is on bass, and Chad Smith is on drums.
@Johnny Casserole GTFO.
@Johnny Casserole No. People hate haters. You're a hater and are so far gone from objective and subjective reality, you base your own failures(Which I know you haven't obviously mentioned) in such a way that you formulate this as a cash grab when really, it's just talented people being good at what they do. I am sure you probably have music out there you've made and think it's really good but honestly your friends just don't have the balls to tell you it sucks.
Johnny Casserole Mec tu t’appelle Casserole va troller des chaînes française plutôt que celle d’Ozzy
@Johnny Casserole I am not familiar with whatever you claim Ozzy has done. It may or may not be true that he was ruthless financially and very self centered business-wise, but that is no reason to wish eternal dammnation upon him, or his family especially. But you may just be doing this to feel special idk
I agree completely. Definitely legendary.
This is so sad. It’s like he knows he’s dying but he doesn’t want to. When he goes a part of all of us will be gone.
It truly breaks my heart knowing that he won't be around for much longer. :'(
@James Wright why so hostile
I can't even imagine
For Gandalf's Sake
James Wright Is it not okay to be upset over someone dying? The difference is we know he is dying. Yeah, I could die in 60 seconds, but I don’t know that. Just let them be upset without hostility, you both are here for the same reason.
Damn..is anyone having a Johnny Cash HURT flashback? Same emotions are coming thru
Ozzy dying an ordinary man is an impossibility. He’s touched too many lives.
2:19
The scenes with Randy, and Ozzy holding his head in his hand in reaction. Ozzy is always trying to show us how much he loved Randy and how deeply that loss hurt him.
Yes that is touching. We miss Randy too. Great soul.
Fact: He has said that he has never recovered from that.
Randy was one of the greatest rock guitarists ever!
Every time I hear him play, my mind is blown again.........
It's like Ozzy telling us goodbye.
This hurts me in the deepest recesses of my heart.
All good things, even badass men like him have to come to a end.
Will be sad when the day comes
You're right, it's like a goodbye. Likewise, Freddie Mercury was saying goodbye in the song "The show must go on"
I cried through the whole thing
Somehow I feel similar when I listened to David Bowie's Black Star for the first time. It is just like a goodbye album. It truly makes me sad.
There's supposedly another album coming
OZZY OSBOURNE
"The Man"
"The Myth"
"The Legend"
"The Prince of Darkness"
he should be the king of darkness now
No pix of Lee Kerslake or Bob Daisley :(, Not sure if I caught a pic of Randy Castillo either.
And now an Al Star Band that sounds better then almost anything he has done before. A true visionary.
We should promote him to emperor
I still choke up watching Ozzy covering his face from grief when it shows the picture of him and Randy. This video is powerful & the lyrics are so emotional. I wonder what that conversation was like after he watched this for the first time.
i agree, im sure that even if the lyrics are not written solely for him, they have a meaning for randy too. randy made ozzy to be born second time.
earth will be hollow without ozzy. he makes us whole

Hey is the only man that we need
What about guns and roses
People can hate Sharon as much as they can, but thanks to her, we still have Ozzy.
Amen to that. And if you doubt how much they care for each other, this video should put that to rest.
Why people hate her?
Truth!
@@xnevertrytocorner293 Because she is a asshole to other bands and she gets jealous of Ozzy by everything. One time, she paid people to throw eggs on Iron Maiden in a Ozzfest. And she didn't want to put Zakk Wylde playing on the new album because "he ends up drawing more attention live than Ozzy". So, that things make people hate her
you right she one of the biggest reason he still alive.
This feels like it's his final song his final goodbye truly a masterpiece of a song one of Ozzy's best songs
I was unprepared for fame
Then everybody knew my name
No more lonely nights, it's all for you
I have travelled many miles
I've seen tears and I've seen smiles
Just remember that it's all for you
Don't forget me as the colours fade
When the lights go down, it's just an empty stage
Okay
Yes, I've been a bad guy
Been higher than the blue sky
And the truth is I don't wanna die an ordinary man
I've made grown men cry
Don't know why I'm still alive
Yes, the truth is I don't wanna die an ordinary man
Many times I've lost control
They tried to kill my rock 'n' roll
Just remember I'm still here for you
I don't wanna say goodbye
When I do, you'll be all right
After all, I did it all for you

When the lights go down, it's just an empty stage

Ozzy, I know you don’t actually read this, but I’m more proclaiming to the universe. This week I’ve found out that my dad has lymphatic cancer and his doctors said he only has 1-3 years max to live. I’m 22 but by the time I’m 25 it’s almost certain I won’t have a father anymore. Growing up you were his favorite singer and in turn you were mine too. Whenever I hear your songs, I’ll always think of my dad, and this song will always mean a lot to me. I know he’s not gone yet, but he’ll always be there in my heart. He’s had a good life but it’s ending too short. He won’t die an ordinary man. I would have loved to see you in concert here in Milwaukee the last two years at Summerfest but it wasn’t in the universe’s plans since both of your concerts here were canceled. I was going to go with my dad to see you since you’re his favorite. Dear friend, stay safe and stay healthy Ozzy.
Man I’m sorry that’s sucks about your dad. Hopefully he gets better and you will have a lot longer with him
Patrick Dougherty I can relate to that. My grandpa passed away from cancer 11 years ago. He wasn’t my real grandpa, my grandma got married to him when my mom was pregnant with me. But I grew up with him and my grandma cause my mom had to go to another country to provide for the family and my education. He basically substituted my dad who I saw once a year for couple of days even though he lived a 2 hour ride from his place far. My grandpa is responsible for moral standards I have both as a human being and a man. He didn’t listen to Ozzy but he actually bought me my first tape player and couple of cassettes he thought I would like. One of them was Ozzy’s “Bark at the Moon” album. That’s where my rock/metal journey began. I was 5 yrs old when he bought me those for my birthday. He’s been gone for 11 years now (I’m 26) and I still miss him a lot. And every time I listen to Ozzy - I think about my granddad. I know the feeling oh so well and I just wanted to say I feel for you. Hold on there buddy and cherish every moment you have with him. Make him feel loved and needed.
Man I’m praying for your dad and your family, just spend as much time with your dad as possible. Keep your head up brother, I’m 23 and I can’t imagine hearing that news. Peace and love from Nashville tn
Hey Bro, I lost my parents a few years ago. Reading your words I can´t avoid feeling sad. But at the same time I can tell you: enjoy yours everyday, thank to the sky for having them and continue with their love in your heart!
This is truly heartbreaking. I'm sending my best vibes to your dad. All the love from Mexico
Hes done a lot of Ballads but in my opinion this is in his top 5. Ozzy. You will never have to worry about dying an Ordinary man. You have touched way too many heats and you can't argue or debate it. All your contributions to your fans has been a blessing to us. You are a most talented and versatile performer and I'm overjoyed to have heard you many many times. Take care** \m/

Ozzy has amazing power. If you think about it. More people will listen to him, than the president. I think he realized this later in his career and used his music to heal troubled souls. This man will never run out of life events to sing about. He can move me emotionally. If music can move you emotionally, then it's something you'll return to get that feeling. Ozzy for President!!!

My fav ozzy song.. bc it's all him, all for us!
I don't want Ozzy to die, period. He's no ordinary mortal. The things he's done would have killed lesser men, and have. I started to choke up when they showed his reaction to Randy on screen. It still haunts him and I feel his pain the same as when I heard about it back in the early eighties when I was playing his albums on vinyl. This song, though is his standing in a mirror and saying "Damn it's been a hell of a ride, and I am thankful for every moment". We love him because he's genuine, he's John "Ozzy" Osborne. Titan of Metal.
Me ether
Pff hes gonna out live us all
What's happening with his health?
Death cannot be avoided whether we like it or not.
@@w7class Surprisingly, the usual "old people" things (back problems, respiratory problems, Parkinson's, etc...). I say surprising considering the absolute fuck-ton of drugs he's done over his life somehow didn't kill him long ago. And now Ozzy's said he's "Not happy...", "Doesn't have his health anymore."
I think it’s long over due people start calling him the king of darkness rather than the prince of darkness. He’s been the king since the 80s

These new Ozzy songs, especially this one, are almost hard to watch. Im 53, grew up with Sabbath, Ozzy and that era. Ive seen Ozzy multiple times in concert. On one hand, I love his heavier music. On the other, some of this new stuff is some of the best. BUT, what saddens me is there is a deep undertone to this of saying goodbye. I know OZ has had med issues and all in recent years, and it's well documented that he probably is a medical wonder surviving the substances over the years. And Of course, he is aging as the rest of us. I get all that, I see it and all, but hard to hear someone recording what sounds like goodbye letters. Be well OZ! Thank you for so much great music!!!! Also, the song itself resonates with me deeply. Again, Im 53, health issues, Mom/dad/only brother and my only son are all gone. I struggle with my mortality alot anymore as I had such big dreams and all, and feel Ive achieved so little. So, the song itself speaks to me deeply as well. tear jerker

Your life most likely had paramount moments. All the ups and downs are hard. I've had much loss as well and am not healthy. I blew off a chance to sign with someone in the 70s. Promoter heard me and wanted me to sing 2 songs acapella on a tape. I never did it! Life never feels like you accomplished anything as you get older. My love and hugs to you my friend. Look for the pearls, they will be there.
I know quite a few guys , born in 1948 or there abouts. They all have the same trait, individual, good crowd pleasers, self destructive, but lovable. I went out with one, he stole my heart, my life and my very being, and in the end I had to say goodbye. Anyone else had a similar story to tell?
Love this song, and love Ozzy!!
I was 13 when I first heard Sabbath, and been a fan since that day!! It will be a sad day when we don’t have Ozzy anymore !!
I know I will shed many tears on that day, which I hope will be a long time from now! Keep singing Ozzy, never, never stop !!

Pls netflix :c como the dirt of motley crue...
Actually we need the holy Land
He should be crowned KING OF ROCK N ROLL!!!
The idea to pair Ozzy and Elton was brilliant.
It’s perfect ain’t it, ones a true Rock n Roll legend, and the other is Ozzy Fuckin Osbourne... 👍❤️🤘🤘🤘🤘
Don’t forget slash did the solo
It was actually Kellys' idea. Whilst writing this piece Ozzy told Sharon it sounded like an Elton John song. She asked "I wonder if he would sing it". Now we have the end result which is amazing, but had no influence other than Ozzy and Kelly approaching him
Kirk Brown what songs.?
I'm no Elton john fan but fuck if that didnt give me goosebumps! That shit is fire!
Y’all please don’t say “this is his last year living” he’ll be here for more.
Очень грустно стало. Клип навеял мысли об его уходе. Я не про уход со сцены((((
You said it
Hope so.. Thank God his music will always be here
People have been saying that since the 80s
BRAVO OZZY, THANK YOU for giving us this beautiful crazy gift! Also Love and healthy karma for you and your family. I’ve been a fan for many decades, and I know you will never be an “Ordinary Man “!
To get back up after lifetimes of pain, sorrow, addiction and tragedy is so honorable. I respect this man profoundly, so much more than the douches that pretend to be perfect.
This man is a brave human being and sincere.
Ozzy Osbourne I can't ever thank you enough for the music and the personality you have provided my people and my generation for our entire lives. You've prevented countless suicides and you've inspired a lot of us to make very bold moves. Thanks to you we've fought the law and won more than once.
This man is a fucking legend. After all this time and abuse he’s put his body through, and he can still make a song that provokes tears.
And you’re cussing on the Internet for attention, tsk tsk
@@corey-bird3489 he's not cussing for attention he's cussing to emphasize his fucking statement!
@@JackSloane333 am I missing something? He said fucking once. So where is the cussing?
😶❤
totally agree!! the quad accident too ...fucking we're lucky to have heard him xx
5 decades... My grandfather, father, myself and my son have all enjoyed his music. His body will fail and die one day, but Ozzy? Ozzy will never die, let alone as an ordinary man.
soooo damm true brother i fell the same here i got raised in ozzy music my dad would go to concerts and have a hell of a party back at home i never had enough of this !!
Tbh I think ozzy is more of a mentality then a actual person I mean ozzy osbourne is a guy but just ozzy seems more like a lifestyle at this point to do what you want when you want and not give a fuck who you piss off and deal with the consequences later but ozzy osbourne will never be a ordinary man ever again he's past legendary level he is the God of rock
He will live forever.
he is internal
@@memoelitaliano6891 What? Internal? WTF?!
Thank you Ozzy, I'm sure when you first started you didn't think that a kid this far down our career would be listening to you, but I hope you know it will always be passed down, the legend that is Ozzy Osbourne, thank you for your dedication to your fans, and undeniable skill. Thank you Ozzy 🖤🤟
This is beyond beautiful… I was so lucky to see his amazingness at 4 Ozzfest’s - 2002/2003/2004/2005 and I am grateful I got to experience them all. Thank you Ozzy!!!
This makes me think of Johnny Cash covering "Hurt" just before he died.
Thats what I was thinking also 😔😢😭

Lemmy won't let Ozzy or Keith in to heaven, they'll live forever

Yeah sure xD
Lemony snickerZ DM The best guitar riff is : The Silver Thinkers: the 17 million.
JUST EPIC !!!
*oof*
Same here they dont understand
Just wanted to my kids mother as family and God bless to live with just my kids and mother is my favorite color is clear and I see better as blue eyes and Quee my heart ok
This is as beautiful as his Dreamer song....guys like ozzy who remember Woodstock and the 70s are proof our grandparents are cooler than us
The part where he sees Randy and covers his eyes always makes me cry
We need to thank Sharon for saving his life.
Exactly people can slag her off all they want, but if it wasnt for her he would have been dead decades ago
Yes I agree. People constantly bashing Sharon, Ozzy would not be here today. Love you Ozzy And Sharon. Thank you Sharon for saving Ozzy.
I begrudgingly agree with you. If it wasn't for Sharon, Ozzy would have died long ago.
Which time?
He might be in better shape right now had she not rung him out like a dishrag to get every cent that she could. Can't give that bitch any credit give it to God
Didn’t start crying till I saw him react when he was posing with Randy by THAT bus. Excellent video.
Me too. That really got me.
Every time Randy is mentioned in an interview with Ozzy you can see that its still painful for him to remember. Very good song!
Why is the bus so important?
@@sorooshkianmehr2024 The pilot who was also bands bus driver was flying with small plane just above the bus, in which Ozzy, other group members and Sharon were asleep, apparently in attempt to prank them or wake them up, he flew too low and possibly clipped the bus, lost control and crashed to a tree, killing pilot, Randy Rhoads and a cook for the band.
Yep. Seeing that, the tears broke through.
Played this at my dads funeral, despite our differences, none of the foul times hold sway. Billy the viking was no ordinary man, may valhalla be your resting place old man.
The two biggest names in British rock, finally working together. Why am I crying?
Why am I tearing up? “Don’t forget me when the color fades” damn
Evan Smith dont forget me*
jel37 who can ever forget Mr Osbourne he is a legend
Same!
@@Suelovesboo One of the greatest singers of all time
👍
2:23 His reaction to seeing Randy Rhoads... :(
you can really tell by his reaction that he truly loved him
Luka Lapadat - made me cry
Luka Lapadat RIP TO THAT LEGENDARY PERSON 🤘🏼
*ALL I FEEL IS RAGE*
yesesss it makes me so sad 🥺🥺😭
The only thing that could make this song any better is if Randy Rhodes was still alive to play this song with him.
And Bob Daisily!
This song hits you right in the feelers. Ozzy and Elton are both far from being an ordinary man. They are both great people as well as great musicians.
This reminds me of when Johnny Cash did his rendition of Trent Reznor's Hurt; knowing his time was short. Hope it is not the same with Ozzy.
Hermit King David Bowie did the same with his song Lazarus when he knew he was dying from cancer.
I was thinking exactly the same the first time seeing this vid.
"I don't want to die an ordinary man." - Ozzy
No worries there brother.
Ozzy will never die an ordinary man. He is a legend. He will never be forgotten.
Ozzy, Thank you for all those great albums. You made my childhood great.
This feels like "Hurt" from Johnny Cash...a goodbye song.
I thought the same
I just shared the video on FB after watching it for the 1st time and said the same.
Yes sir
Don't say it
I remember hurt came out in 2003
Same year Johhny Cash died
I see I'm not the only one that it feels like reminds me of Bowie's goodbye song
